Bubble Wrap scammers?

I've ordered large amounts of bubble wrap 7 times in the past yer or so.
Three times, the seller did not send the full order.
I'm curious if they figure that the buyer won't actually measure it all when we're talking about over 150'.

The seller(s) never responds to messages.

And since I actually need the bubble wrap for my business, I can't wait around to return it all and wait for a refund etc.

I I got 2 orders in yesterday (from 2 different sellers, different bubble wrap types), and the BOTH were short. One by 120', other by 25'. These aren't low feedback sellers. One has over 200k, one is at 1.5k

Anyone else experience this?

I saved this discussion until I had a chance to measure the bubblewrap I just received. Ordered 250 feet. Came in two rolls. First roll measured 61', with me measuring carefully. Cliff wandered in about the time I was going to remeasure and got 56' measured by "arm spans".  He measured the second roll the same way and got the same 56'.

So using my more careful measurement and calling it 60ish, means I got sent 120ish feet when I ordered 250 feet.  Re-reading the description just now, it says each roll is 125' long -- makes me wonder if they have a disconnect from their supplier or in their worker bee's concept of how big the rolls are, because it would take four rolls to complete the order.

Yes and when  it does happen you need to open a claim for not as described indicating that a portion of your order was missing.   Missing parts or pieces.  In the comments section  you state that you still  want your product. It's unlikely that they will require that you return the product for a refund so that you order again to reship the proper amount.

Supplier gave me a 50% refund. He determined (without my feeding him my thoughts) I should have received four rolls instead of two. I am suspicious that this happened on purpose, based on other feedback, but I have been made more or less whole so I am not unhappy at this point. I made a note of some of the referrals up thread, and will try one of those next time, but will absolutely measure what I get.  I appreciate that this thread resurfaced at the time it did.

Another vote for esupplystore. I've been a very happy customer for many years. I definitely check my supply when there's a nice ebay bucks promo. Every little bit helps!

This time I followed the reccomendation up thread and ordered from Bubble Boy. Ordered 400' and received four rolls, first of which measured the expected 100'. I'm happy! But I'll remember Sam's Club because we regularly get membership promos that give a $45 Sam's gift card to defray the $45 membership fee.
