Blocking coupons from stacking.

Hello, 

I am looking for a way to create coupons that would not apply to items that are marked down for promotions. Ideally, a way to exclude them instead of selecting items the coupon would apply to as we have thousands of items.

There is no way to do that. If you have things 'on sale' and then create/give coupons, as you have probably seen, you can limit them for 'certain priced items' or 'certain store categories' or 'certain categories' or 'outright specific items'.

So, you need to create a store category for 'items on sale' and then move all those items into that category; then you can 'exclude' items in a 'specific category'.
