This individual is blocked in my blocked buyers list AND blocked under buyer requirements ( don't allow blocked buyers to contact you). This is not about an existing transaction. He first sent a message in the middle of the night asking questions that were answered in the listing. By morning the listing had sold out. I politely replied, the items were sold out but the info. was in the description part of the listing as well as in the item specifics. He has since sent 27 verbally abusive messages despite being blocked in the 2 areas mentioned above. I contacted customer service -- they were NO help. I was told not to respond to him and ignore & delete his continuing messages. HELP!!!

Sorry to bother you again, but I thought you s/b aware. It's really scary that this seller was told twice, by 2 different Ebay Reps that she had to just ignore harrassing & threatening messages from a would-be "buyer". Threatening enough that the guy was arrested! That's truly alarming that C/S did not take it seriously! Twice!
Perhaps a reminder/education to C/S Reps on the proper protocol for this? I know some of them know it b/c I personally had a "buyer" harrassing me a few weeks ago, though no threats in my case & it was swiftly & efficiently handled by the Rep I got (mine was via a chat so not sure if male or female). So efficiently that the "buyer" immediately stopped contacting me after C/S told them to cease & desist. Prior, they had been sending me hourly messages for 2 days b/c I wouldn't give them a discount. No seller should have to put up with threats & C/S Reps should all know how to deal with this situation!
It's bad enough to be threatened, but then to be told you just have to put up with it is unconscionable.

@sassykzt I'm happy to have the messages reviewed. Did the member send the message though an item number? If so, share the item number here and I'll have it looked at. Thanks!

MAKES ALOT OF CENSE?

I've reported a buyer that was happy with a transaction and left positive feedback with my store and suddenly, 33 days after delivery of the item, he sent 3 harsh, abusive and threatening email through other active listings, with false accusations about the description on the listing from which he made the purchase. Return was not authorized but he said he's returning the item anyway and I'd better refund his money within 4 days. I've reported the buyer who said he has opened a case against me to have me banned. He's completely off base and wrong with his assertions about my listing. He responded with verbiage from someone else's listing asserting it was from mine, said he was returning the item, and asked me to never contact him again, a request with which I'm happy to comply. My initial reply included copy & paste of my listing description. I then provided my listing # and suggested he check the sold listings for himself to determine if what I sent in my reply, was what he saw when bidding on my auction and found in the sold listings search. When I reported him to eBay today, I saw the eBay link below my explanation that indicates I should issue a refund. Due to the nasty nature of his message, false assertions and character assassination, I don't feel he is due a refund, not to mention the fact that it's past 30 days from delivery. He also threatened me to "not hide behind that" 3-days beyond 30 fact (eBay return policy is still 14 days, right?, mine was no return)..... He called me a scammer and indicated he's been catching others this way on eBay. He's only been on the platform for about 6 months, I think. If anyone needs banned, it's him. I need to speak to an appropriate eBay person before taking any further action.

Delete them without reading.

Actually you might be better to mark them as read, without reading them, and then just file them in case CS does decide to take a closser look.
But the social media Chats are much more useful than the phone reps.

I'm a little confused here. Not sure why you're replying to me & also, this is a 2 year old ZOMBIE thread.
@cmummeg This is a 2 year old thread & will likely be closed for that reason. It's best to start your own current thread, since policies can change substantially in 2 years. Also, please use paragraphs when you start your own thread. It's very hard to read a wall of text.

There is no humor in that and it is COMPLETELY INAPPROPRIATE behavior on here.
