Why has eBay not blocked sellers from Russia. Russians are selling items stolen from Ukraine. Come on EBay, join the rest of the civilized world and cut them off!

This is a post from 3/10 on the Payoneer's Community board posted by a Payoneer moderator:
We continue to serve our existing customers in Russia in line with the limitations imposed by international sanctions. The list of sanctioned banks is changing frequently so please review the government sites for the latest information.
We have made the decision to suspend the ability for new customers in Russia to use Payoneer services as such any new Russian customers signing up to our service will only be able to receive payments from marketplaces.
The funds in your Payoneer account are safe and we continue to serve our existing customers in Russia in line with the limitations imposed by international sanctions on Russian banks.
Currently, the restrictions on RUB payments or payments into Russia are only to banks on the sanctions list. We can therefore continue to process payments into bank accounts that are not included on these lists.
If the bank you linked to Payoneer is sanctioned, please switch to another bank that has not been sanctioned in order to withdraw funds to your bank account.

Curious, just sold an item to someone in Georgia Russia, they are using a freight forwarder in DE, should I be worried?

If eBay stands behind it's policy with regards to the buyers protection then you have nothing to worry about. The buyers MBG guarantee, for INR or NAD, ends when the item arrives at the FF. How well eBay stands behind that is questionable.
There is always the possibility of a chargeback which is pretty much out of eBays control as far as the decision goes.

LOL,,,,,you must have been sleeping that July day last year when the the payments_team@ebay posted on Community Info>Payment Resources, "Were you asked to link a Payoneer account for payouts? Here's why."

Russians have been blocked for awhile I don’t know why they have left Russian sellers listings up but if you click on their listings, they all appear to be on ‘time away’ until Dec. 31, 2030. Plus, if you look at their ‘ship to’ countries in the shipping/payments tab, every country has been blocked.

^^^ I noticed that too - in addition most forms of payment have been banned in the RF, which basically renders Russian sellers as a no go zone whether it be eBay or Amazon or any other online platform.
They won't be getting paid even if they can sell............

I've been waiting for my drop shipment of arms from the pentagon to protect myself against them 😉

Wow. Let me guess: you've picked this up in a red book.

There is no credible reporting that there are bioweapons in Ukraine. Are there biolabs in Ukraine? Yes. And there is a biolab in every American university. Shall we freak out over them too?

There is no credible reporting out there period. I'll trust my gut reaction when I watch victoria nuland answer that question and go ghost white. I'm more freaked out over the continuing unnecessary harm being done to the economy which will make selling much harder going forward. Less money in consumer's pockets means less sales.
