This is weird and new to me. I see that a seller had 90% feedback due to one single negative rating and this is the reason
The price of btc went up so you cancelled my transaction. Very dishonest
Bitcoin BTC .25 Direct to your Wallet
Are sellers accepting Bitcoin payments here? Has anyone else seen something like this?

you would have to give a item /listing number to see what you say..
but no..no bit coin payment...most if not all sellers have enough trouble just getting a payment via paypal...bitcoin and such ...if ebay lets that happen...it will certainly be the end...what a mess!

From the sounds of that feedback I'd say the seller was selling a chunk of bitcoin and failed to deliver and the buyer is claiming the reason is that the price jumped significantly after he purchased it.

In which case the seller got a defect for cancelling the sale.
Is bitcoin trading even allowed on eBay?

I think. Do a search of "bitcoin wallet" go to solds and sort by price highest first. People are laying down serious money for it.

Virtual currency must be listed in the Classified Ad format in the Coins & Paper Money > Virtual Currency category. These requirements apply regardless of whether the virtual currency is digitally or physically delivered. Examples of items subject to this policy include Bitcoins, Litecoins and other similar cryptocurrencies.
ebay can/does make exceptions based solely on ebay's discretion

The transaction was from over 6 months ago so I can't see the item.

Didn't classified ads shut down a couple months ago?

They are listing them in:
coins and paper money > virtual currency > mining contracts.
So I guess it's blessed.

No, not a payment, it was for a purchase of it.
Though I thought it had to be listed in classifieds as digital.
But it is possible the seller listed in another category.
