I have someone who has bid on item I am selling but bid itself is not showing up on eBAY (and so I cannot accept bid and issue invoice). What am I (or the buyer) doing wrong?

Sellers don't accept a bid, the buyer simply bids. If the buyer is trying to make an offer and they aren't able to, what message are they getting when they try? Do you have two hutches or did you list two by mistake? If listed by mistake end one of them using the link below.

By any chance are you communicating with this person via text, not via eBay messages ?
If so, you may be dealing with a scammer.
You do not accept a bid.
People bid.
The auction runs its course.
Unless you've set a reserve price, high bidder wins.

On Aug 15th, you sold your hutch: 203562066833
But you also have 2 active auctions for that hutch: 203562251657 & 203562083553
On Aug 4th, you sold your sewing machine: 203562274072
But you also have an active auction for that sewing machine: 203539330378

If eBay does not show a bid or an offer, then the buyer did not place a bid or did not make an offer.
The buyer is either mistaken or is trying to scam you.

You still have two hutches and one sewing machine listed for sale.
You have sold one hutch and one sewing machine.
You need to figure out what you actually have left to sell.

I doubt this will help, but I'm both a buyer and seller, and I had a long list of auctions to bid on last night in a short period of time. Only one out of 11 bids went through, I lost all but the one. I would open the bid window,
put my bids into the text box, but when I hit confirm bid, the window looked like it was just loading forever and the bids never went through. I tend to put my top bids in at the last 10-15 seconds, so there was no time to try again. Very **bleep** off, something is wrong with the eBay site as I have been bidding for 14 years and never had this problem.

@lakeland_music Sorry you waited too long to bid. Try 30 seconds or more next time to give your computer time to load the bid. You can also use a free sniping program which is much easier and reliable.
