I'm tired of waking up or checking my email for an ongoing auction and seeing that a bid, that mind you has been there for more than a day, has been retracted due to 'entering the wrong amount'.
Why are buyers allowed to retract their bids after more than a day under the false pretense they 'entered the wrong amount'? Is there nothing anyone can do to actually curb this problem, especially eBay moderation? A separate three buyers have done this to my recent auction and it's grating.

It sadly is a problem when you run Auctions. You might want to consider moving to fixed price listings.

Here are the eBay rules of the game on retracting bids.https://www.ebay.com/help/buying/bidding/retracting-bid?
If you feel you have been wronged, contact eBay and provide all the who, what, where, when and how, details of each of your situations. Do like Sargent Friday said often on Dargnet - "give me the facts and nothing but the facts" Until that is done just chill

Unfortunately buyers don't always tell the truth when they file for a retraction.

At least when buyers lie and retract a bid it doesn't cause restrictions to the sellers account.
On the flip side, unfortunately sellers don't always tell the truth when they cancel transactions saying " Buyer asked to cancel". In fact, I had it happen so many times in the past year, ebay decided to award me with 2 UPI strikes even though I did pay but was refunded. I didn't find out about them until recently when my account became restricted for auctions.

Did you contact Ebay as Kyle suggested on the last one you got? As it is only Ebay that can remove the strike.
On each Ebay page there is a link to contact Customer Service at the top of the page and again at the bottom of the page.
I would suggest that you contact Ebay for Business on Facebook, Instagram or Twitter for the better trained CSRs.
Here are your options for contacting Ebay Customer Service. Please be aware that for social media CS, you send them a Private Message and briefly explain what your problem or issue is. Feel free to leave your Name, address, phone number and/or your email address in this message. It is private and secure and it may help to speed up the response for you.

Your options will be on the left. If you use the link below you can only get to the Automated Assistant or Chat box type AGENT in the box and hit enter. You will then get more options. Not all options are available 24/7. It will depend on staffing available. So sometimes you can request a call back and sometimes you can't. Sometimes you have the Chat option available and other times it won't me. If it is important to you to use one of those options, just try back later.
If you use a cell phone or other mobile device, you may need to turn off your Spam filter so that Ebay can call you.
If you are a seller outside of the US or Canada, you will need to use the Chat Option.

I had already spoke with the reps at facebook and was told ,
"The two orders where you requested the seller to cancel. Due to the history on your account, we have implemented this block while these strikes on your account in order to ensure smooth transactions moving forward. They will expire automatically after 12 months."
I've always paid , never had an unpaid item strike before this in 20 years ebaying. The only history they were referring to was from sellers saying "Buyer asked to cancel", when I never did. I'm totally shocked that this could even happen and even more shocked at the lack of cooperation in removing them.
I've been very busy and finally did a chat with a rep through the appeals page link and was told they sent a request to remove them and it will take 3-5 days to know if they are approved. Now I have to wait and see.

Something is wrong and I think it got lost in the details of what transpired. A cancellation for the reason that the buyer requested it, does NOT create a non payment strike.

I used to believe that too, but obviously it does now. If you look at the cancel details you can see they were both paid. One order was for defective ram, and the other order was for media mail fraud causing postage due and was returned to seller. Both refunds were about 3 weeks after my payment date.

Yes, I see that they say that you requested the cancellation. I saw this earlier in the info you provided. But that doesn't equal a Non payment strike unless the Ebay system made an error. Even the screen shots you gave say that they refunded you. Can't refund something that hasn't been paid.

That's my thought too, that the system made an error since they happened within days of each other.
What surprises me most is they don't seem to acknowledge this so far as an error and don't even try to understand. Then had the nerve to say based on my history, that was like a slap in the face. What history? Do they mean a history of always paying?
I've been shaking my head since I found out about all this, after the final strike caused by the glitch in autopay, which triggered the bidding restriction. . Ebay sure has a way to ruin a good buyers reputation easily.

Sadly sometimes it seems like CSRs make things up or simply give bad advice. I wish I could help you fix this because I most certainly would. But only Ebay can help you with it, so sadly you need to try again as they are the ones that have to fix it.
Time is also important. Once this passes about 60 days or little less, they can't fix it.
Try a different way to contact Customer Service. I know it isn't what you want to hear, but you need them to actually fix this issue.
