So, I copied some listing titles to save time which had the name " Bundt" in the title and got Vero'd by someone named Caroline at Northland Aluminum in the United Kingdom.
I thought they were in Wisconsin and I thought they used to be Americans.
She got 2 listings booted, and missed one which she got booted 12 days later and which earned me a 3 day suspension. These were not Nordic or Northland pans and I did check all of my existing listings for the words Nordic, Nordicware, and Northland, which I thought was the problem.
Now I didn't know that Northland had a trademark on the word "Bundt", I had to search the internet for what the problem might be, and after the first instance I didn't relist those pans, but, she also didn't tell me what the issue was with those pans, I didn't call them Nordic and the word Nordic or Northland was nowhere in the listings.
So beware of using the word "Bundt", I see 1000s of listings, we have this tiny little, power hungry cretin trying to justify her existence by arbitrarily and capriciously jumping on people across the ocean for whatever reason with no explanation of any kind, no common courtesy, no ability to communicate, in typical Fascist, power hungry style, while interfering with the ability of Americans to make a living.
Now I don't sell here for income, I sell here to provide therapy for my autistic Grandson @ $200 an hour, but any humanity will probably escape this corporate, mechanized, English "Lady". I was also Medevaced out of Da Nang in January of 1969 and spent 30 days at the 6th Convalescent center in Cam Rahn, then choosing to go back to war rather than go home during my first tour to protect the rights of these corporate monsters to be who and what they are.
Also, don't run afoul of the Godly "Velcro" people, they are ruthless and brutal, taking no prisoners and delighting in being pure and unadulterated you know what's as they prey on their fellow American, especially during one of the most difficult times in our history.
There is no situation so bad that there isn't someone out there who will cheerfully make it worse for you.

The generic term is fluted cake pan or fluted tube cake pan. Sorry you got hit with this!

Some random person can't go around removing listing for VeRO violations, they have to be an authorized representative, so this isn't some random vero cake pan lady as you say.
Please explain how protecting one's intellectual rights is Fascist?
If you're getting VeRO'd all the time I suggest you do more research before you list your items instead of copying other titles, etc.

VERO = verified right OWNER: they are God to eBay.

Yes, Velcro is always caught it seems. Bundt has been for a white - Nordicware folks are constantly reporting under VeRO.
Sorry about your suspension.

Sorry that happened to you. I didn't even know that "bundt" was forbidden. How are customers supposed to search for "bundt pan" if you can't use the word.

You're wrong on all three counts.
I haven't been vero'd in years, the lady has a Northland Aluminum Co. e-mail address, and nobody can keep up with all the trademarks, it was even difficult to find out what the issue was.
What's Fascists is these multi-national, multi $ Billion dollar corporations, who pay no taxes, attempting to control every facet of life.
There is no reason these people can't send a message to the seller asking them to remove the offending item rather than ambushing, blind siding, and bush wacking, honorable business people, honorable and humane unlike themselves of course.
I suggest you continue to bow to your corporate masters if it brings you joy and satisfaction.
Maybe you should research these multi-$Billion corporations and the illegal activities in which they have been engaged, indicted, and prosecuted for.

So the publishers of cookbooks are in trouble also. I have at least 6 cookbooks with multiple recipes for chocolate bundt cake, pineapple bundt cake etc. In fact, there is a cookbook at my library entitled "Bundt Cakes".

My question is this: I knew about the "Velcro" thing- but had no idea about "Bundt" and Nordic Ware and a whole lot more forbidden fruit errr brands..
Is there an actual list someplace? If not, there needs to be-
I understand rights owners and I respect that but I do think it would be more fair & just to message the seller, give them 24 hours to remove/revise before slapping. May not be "required" but sure would be a more gentle way to handle it.

There is a list somewhere around this part of their website. https://pages.ebay.com/seller-center/listing-and-marketing/verified-rights-owner-program.html
The list is NOT complete. I got Veroed for a couple of things that were not on the list. How are you supposed to know if it's not on the list?

I think what you are really asking is "How are customer supposed to search for "Bundt pan" and find pans that are actually just fluted cake pans?"
I suspect they would do it the same way customers are supposed to search for "Band-Aids" that are really just adhesive bandages.

This is crazy and just happened to me. My vintage bundt pan was flagged and removed for all the same reasons described above. This is ridiculous. I know that this is a mark on my record and now eBay will be keeping a close eye on me. How can someone trademark the word bunt. That's like trademarking the word cake or cookie. I will be calling eBay this morning to complain and speak my mind and I will message this person that flagged my item as well and while I'm at it I will message well whoever will listen.

Calling eBay will make no difference. A trademark is a trademark, no matter how unreasonable you think it is. According to the story in the link below, it's the fluted pan, not the cake itself, which is trademarked.
