I'm just wondering why there's no way to report a buyer that hasn't actually bought anything yet. I know I'm not the only one getting these people or whatever from Florida and a couple other places that will send an offer for the same amount as buy it now andthen want you to contact them off of Ebay for payment arrangement. Theres not really a way to report these people. Most of them will have only a few feedback and there mostly bad. Jus kinda wanted someone else's feedback on this. They usually have some people they follow or following them that are doing the same thing. I've been back on Ebay for a little bit now but have had the same people do this a few times now. Seems like Ebay would make a easy way to report these scams, just saying.

No there is not an easy way. Ebay claims to take care of this on their own.
It is a good thing you know it is a scam.

Well technically these aren't actual buyers on eBay. This is a phishing scam and these are bots created to target higher priced items. It's good that you realized this is a scam and you should quickly delete it from your messages. Never reply to them as they will get your info that way. Best of luck to you....

As a new seller, you are a sitting duck for scammers, they think you are easy pickins'.

In theory eBay will wipe the Message, because it does include a phone number and an email address.
In real life, this seems to be done by periodic sweeps, so the Message may stay up for a few hours.

Florida, particularly Doral FL, has a lot of freight forwarders.
Also Delaware, Seattle and Los Angeles.
While these companies are legit, and actually quite safe to ship to, they are also plagued by scammers using them. Makes me wonder if the scammers pay their bills to the forwarders. Somehow I doubt it.
As you know your best response to these phoney offers is to Delete them and keep on deleting them.
BTW- if you get a real offer from an overseas customer who is using a forwarder, he will just use the Best Offer button on your listing. No need for a conversation other than in Messages.
If he buys and you ship to the forwarders, your responsibility for delivery ends with the forwarder. Much of the Money Back Guarantee ends there too.
However, it is not a good idea to ship overseas until you have at least 10 DSRs and understand why they are useless.
