Best Offer option BEING ADDED to my fixed price listings while they're live!!

Over the past week eBay has been sending me emails telling me they have changed some of my live listings to include the Best Offer option. I use Fixed Price for a reason - I have no interest in haggling with buyers. My items sell at a good clip. I am a bit outraged that eBay is forcing this on sellers.

I am now wasting time manually going in and fixing the listings one by one. It is a huge pain in the behind and wish I could turn off their ability to do this. 

Does anybody have experience with this? I have been selling on eBay for 17 years and have never come across this before.

I have the same "issue". I never allow Best Offers because I prefer my listings to be purchased at the price I set. I made about 17 listings and out of nowhere, eBay emailed me to notify me that they enabled Best Offers. I thought it was a mistake on my end, but it turns out not. I had to manually disable the Best Offer on eac listing. Very annoying.
