Below Standards

1.. I sold an item to a customer

2. This item went to PR and was visibly stomped on

3. Customer gets money back from Post office and opens a claim agains me and get their money back from Ebay.  2X

4.  I fight with Post Office for 6 months and finally get 50.00 back.

5.  I am not put on Below Standards and they will not take that back.

6.  Why did Ebay do that to me.  I have called and no answer.  I have been selling since 2004.  Ebay does not care about their sellers.

You don't get classified as Below Standard because of a single bad transaction so there must be a lot more going on.

Even if you do have a "bad" transaction it would only affect your seller rating if you refused to accept the claim as valid.

Either party can file an insurance claim with USPS. If both parties file, then if the claim is approved the funds are given to the package sender, unless they have already been sent to the recipient before the sender files.

5.5 Dual Claim

If the mailer and the addressee both claim insurance and cannot agree on which one should receive the payment, any payment due is made to the mailer unless the claim has already been paid to the addressee upon presentation of the original mailing receipt.
