Being charged fees when I still have Zero Free Listings left

I just upgraded my store a few days ago to a Basic Subscription and I am being charged fees when it shows I have over 200 left on Good til Cancelled and Auctions. What is going on? The last few months on Ebay have been a nightmare.  A flood of sales and then nothing for a week.... then one or 2 sales a day for a week, then nothing again, then a flood of sales in a day. I lost a whole day last week when the listing tools were down and I couldn't upload photos. I am really frustrated! I do use the promoted listings and feel as a small seller I am really being gouged! What is going on with this company???

Are you running auctions outside of the "free" categories?

As far as the rest is concerned......retail sales is not a static routine..  Ask any B & M owner, sales come and go.........heavy one minute and crickets the next.  Your inventory changes as you sell and relist......some of it won't be as desirable as what you've sold before.......or will take waiting longer for the right buyer to buy......

As to feeling gouged by PL.........do you feel gouged by running a sale, having best offer, paying for Bold or subtitles?  All of those are tools, which you can choose to use or not.......

One thing I'll say.........Ebay isn't for everyone......if it's really bothering you, take the time to think out whether it's worth it or not......

Your thread title differs from your post (zero vs. 200)?

If you have Free Listings and you are being charged, I would call eBay to get this resolved.  If you call, let us know what the outcome is?

I see 4 auction style listings.  Two of them are in Pottery & Glass, and one is in Jewelry & Watches.  Those are NOT included in "free" auctions with a store.  Only Collectibles and Fashion categories are included in auction-style listings with a store subscription.  All other categories include a charge.

On the contrary, I believe they are included in free insertion fees... explained here https://www.ebay.com/help/selling/listings/listing-tips/free-listings?id=4163

But OP, are you aware that "Free Listings" only means the insertion fees and not the final value fees when you make the sale?

Ooops!  You are correct.  Maybe I'm misremembering from several years ago.  (But hey...I'm 71 years old...gotta cut me some slack sometime!   laughing   )

@danslay-0
Your title says you have zero free listings left ?
Are they showing  you the total  charge just before you hit the list button?
I can't understand why you would be seeing an insertion fee as long as you are using the Auctions in the correct categories &  not adding any upgrades to the listings  & as posted the 4 auctions you have listed qualify for Auction style under the allowed categories .

Are there upgrades anywhere on any listings?
You are sure that the upgrade to Basic went through since you have 155 listed ?

Did you already get the charges for the listings of anything over the 100 before you upgraded ?  Because if you went over the 100 with the starter before upgrading to Basic they aren't going to credit those listing fees.

And on the last note since upgrading to Basic did you use your Store credit for ebay shipping supplies . Today is the last day for this Quarter to use your coupon. Don't lose that .

And I am still being CHARGED a LISTING DESIGNER FEE of 30 Cents per listing when doing BULK RELISTS, this has been happening ever since the large scale SITE MELT DOWN 10 days ago, I have called and reported this 3 times to Ebay Customer Service Reps and asked for HELP Nicely in last Wednesdays weekly chat with ebay staff and I just get the brush off they could care less about tracking down and fixing the hundreds of site glitches that all of us deal with on an ever growing non stop daily basis.

Clicking on the link that you gave explains why op says in their title that they have zero free listing left.  The title of that ebay help page is "Zero insertion fees listings' so apparently the free store  listings are now called zero insertion free listings.

Yes.  The Stores subscription terms of service page even uses the acronym "ZIF" for "zero insertion fee listings."

Yes, typos and misunderstandings of verbiage and titles. "Insertion" is also a very important word used here... which is often omitted.
