Being charged a fee for each revision.

Noticed yesterday I am being charged a fee of 10 cents for each revision. Has anyone else noticed this? I HOPE it's a glitch and will be resolved soon!!!

There are some fee increases taking effect in May ... maybe that is what some of the posts are about?

Are any of them a secret?

Maybe not a secret but hiding fee increases for non-store owners under the updates for stores sort of made them a secret if you had no reason to go to the section on store updates because you don't have a store.

So, because an increase doesn't affect me, and because I don't read the entire, well-publiced and documented update, that means eBay is doing it 'sort of" in secret?

That's hilarious.

I had no reason at all to read anything about the updates on the Stores. I don't have a store so why would I look in that Update for anything because one would think that only stuff impacting stores would be discussed in that portion of the update.

Fee increases impacting non-store people should not have been listed in the Store section of the Update.

Which non-store fee increases were only listed in the stores section of the update? Sorry, I'm not following what you're trying to say.

In my opinion, if eBay is charging fees any additional fees that have not been officially announced and documented; I will call my credit card company and ask them to investigate these charges made by eBay on my monthly bill.

I have asked  my credit card company to investigate and reverse erroneous charges before, and I will be happy to get them involved again.

Any sellers  that  receives unfounded charges to our monthly invoice form eBay has the same right to have your CC get involved legally on your behalf.

The fee for listings if you go over your 50 free is going from 30 cents to 35 cents. The only place in the Seller Update I could find mention of it was in the section about Stores.

There's a 5 cent listing fee increase for non-store owners that is posted in the eBay Stores section of the update.

@trinton@ebay Re: Being charged a fee for each revision.

this used to happen to me all the time, going on for years and years... but only for listings i had listed in either an additional category (10 cents extra) or i paid for having u.k. visibily (50 cents extra). these extra fees would be reinvoiced each time i made a revision. i finally got rid of u.k. visibility and second category so i would not be constantly charged for this.

So far when I check for fees it has not added them. It's just concerning because we don't want to rack up fees for editing/revising a price or wording. Thanks for your reply!

Then it will cost us to lower prices?

@trinton@ebay Re: Being charged a fee for each revision.

There has been NO change to charge for Revisons........

There is a glitch going on that seems to show it when listing, but I've yet to see anyone say there is an actual charge on their invoice for it.

On one of the threads, we've asked Trinton to check into the glitch...........

Hi everyone, this is an issue our tech teams are looking into right now. Currently we have not seen any examples of fees assessed on the sellers invoice, but I'd love to get examples of this if they are available.

@If anyone impacted by this issue could please @mention me and provide item numbers and screenshots of the messaging you are seeing, that would be fantastic! I want to help get this resovled as quickly as possible slight_smile

Someone named trinton from the ebay community wants me to give them the screenshot & item number as an example but it won't let me message them. If you are out there trinton@eBay here is the item number as the lastest example of a revision that just looked like it charged me 10 cents to do a small revision.
