Dear community,
I am posting here as a last resort. A few days I decided to sell some of my items through Ebay for the first time. I should mention I am based in the Netherlands. After logging into an old account and updating personal information I created my first listing and shortly after I got permanently banned without warning and no explanation whatsoever. I am completely baffled by the manner in which Ebay treats its customers. All I receive are meaningless messages saying that I pose a risk to the community but nowhere can I find the reason or instructions to resolve the issue. Frankly, it's a bit embarrassing that a company of this scale has such an incompetent fraud detection system and lackluster customer service. I am sure I am not the only one that had had this happen, any pointers would be greatly appreciated.

What was the listing for?

Your old account could have owed money or it/the new one could be associated with another account that's gone bad. That said, rarely have I seen someone post with the NARU account.......(not a registered user) as shown on the feedback page.
You could try to contact Ebay thru their Ebay for business account......READ the rules and follow them.......and probably NOT a good idea to call them/their systems incompetent....... Play nice and you might get somewhere.....

thats what happens when you have more humans controlling things like message boards, than they do, human customer service dealing with issues like this. There's no way, Bots should be closing accounts., Only humans should be able to do that. but Ebay is like google. If youre a deep pocket high volume person you are awarded human customer service. If youre the regular joe, the ones that make up most the users, youre given a series of pre-answered questions and "ask other users" message boards. Its the way the united states does things now.

How long ago was the account used? Were you already in managed payments?
You need to link a checking account that eBay accepts. Then you have to go back to the Seller Hub and give them the micro deposit amounts they will deposit to verify it's a working account, or you needed to log into the account when you linked it.
Then you need to attach a debit or credit card for seller fees that aren't taken from your payouts.
Updating personal information sounds like you updated your address.

The account you posted here with that is NARU shows to be a new account. The only thing I can think of is that eBay connected your new account to another account that was suspended. It could even be connected by IP address, physical address, phone number etc.
That "related" account would have to be fixed first if that is the case.
