My account has been restricted for more than a week now. eBay claims they need to verify my banking info. Which was verified this past February. Nothing has changed. As requested, I uploaded the info needed last Tuesday. Since then, I have spoke with several “Agents” . I’m told that the info has been verified and restriction would be released soon. NOT. I was told that the department responsible for the restriction would contact me soon. NOT. Just yesterday I was told everything looked good, didn’t understand why it’s still restricted, will escalate to the next level. In the meantime eBay is holding my funds but somehow has no problem retrieving funds from me to cover their fees.
These are US CS agents who actually work for ebay and may better serve you & your problem. Many positive posts here on the community forum with their ability to be helpful. Contact them as soon as you can and get back to selling.
I had to get a copy of my bank statement...only first page....with "Bank Heading" on it...that part is very important. Bank gave me one free in black and white and I sent it email to eBay. Then I waited I think a week or two...nothing happening. I was signing up for "instant payouts". Then magically I got an "instant payout" button to use when I want funds when they are available. I never received any type of notification or email...the button just showed up one day. And calling customer service won't be a lot of help...I never called them.
OK, I went through the same thing last month. There is an easy fix. When you go back to the options Ebay gives you the first one says recommended. DO NOT use that one. Use the one that says send micro deposits. In one day you will see two mini amounts added to your bank account. All you have to do is write those amounts where Ebay asks you and your restriction will be lifted.

19 years of partnership with eBay and this is the most frustration I have ever endured. I continue to reach out and hope that eBay finally releases my money but I’m starting to think that maybe it’s time to try other formats.
This past Saturday I made my daily chat with eBay. The only difference this time is the agent says that my issue will be resolved within 24-48 hours. As I write this it has been 55+ hours since our chat. No resolution. No email. Nothing. I challenge anyone within the eBay ranks to contact me and give a rational explanation for this blatant act of irresponsible & unprofessional behavior.
That is strange that you ae not getting the 3rd option to make micro deposits. Have you tried to see if it shows up on both the phone and your computer. It gave me that option and worked great. Had payouts the next day. Next time you call them ask about the micro deposit function.
