Bank Account Compromised

No sooner did I provide eBay with the copy of my bank statement (the account has been associated with my eBay seller for the entirety) then my bank account was compromised. Two large amounts going to "Morgan Stanley". Anyone else experiencing fraudulent activity directly against your account and routing number?

Have you asked your bank who is Ms. Morgan Stanley?

Did you receive notification from your messages on your ebay account or was it an email?  Sounds like you got a fake verification notice.  You need to contact your bank asap.

Sounds like you got scammed by a fake ebay email that was not really from ebay. Change all passwords immediately. Only ever respond to ebay messages on ebay not from email. Just guessing that is what happened in your case.

Not a scam. I have been on hold multiple times with eBay trying to get them to unfreeze my funds. They will not do so until they get a full and unredacted copy of my bank statement. The redacted version wasn't good enough. It did, however, have my full bank account # on it. The money was taken straight from my bank. I did immediately contact my bank and funds were returned. Then it happened again so I had to close the account. My point is somehow someone/thing got my detailed bank funds and the occurred straight on the heels of eBay's new policy which they instituted in August.

I didn't reply to an email in my inbox. It was a messeage in my eBay account. My funds have been frozen since August and I'm trying to reactivate my account. eBay will not do so without an unredacted copy of my bank statement.

You are aware that Morgan Stanley is an actual financial institution, right?

I am quite familiar with who Morgan Stanley is. My bank account was compromised and the draft went to Morgan Stanley or a fake thereof.

I'm not sure how you handled it, but if that happened to me, 

I would be on the phone with my bank to figure out:

A) Why did Morgan Stanley withdrawal from my account.

B) How did Morgan Stanley withdrawal from my account without authorization.

C) Make sure I got my money back.

D) Make sure this doesn't happen again.

What does ebay have to do with anything?

One never knows unless a real investigation takes place.  today i doubled and tripled down on a security concern I had from 1 month ago.  My local unemployment office left a large box of papers which had social security numbers on them left out side the office left to blow around Main street.  The press,  state agencies were made aware...didn't even make the news. My brother was at the post office yesterday and the manager was begging him if he knew anyone who wanted to work for them.  The fact of the matter is the pandemic and especially the actions of government had devastating effects on society.  Many quality workers left the workforce afraid of the virus.  They're being replaced by some real beauts.  These people are not qualified to sweep a floor and are being given the keys to security details.  I only know my own area but I'm sure other parts of the country are having employment problems.  Let's also not forget the US is funding a proxy war with Russia.  so there's a lot of nefarious things going on.  Each time you give away personal information someone has the chance to steal it.  While we had to give up the same kind of data with paypal that was way back when.  ebay doesn't even really have customer service anymore.  They fought congress hard to not identify who is really on their site.  Why is that?  I'll tell you why the site is flooded with amazon drop shippers who are all from china. they're agents of the chinese communist regime who have sworn to destroy America.  Selling below cost isn't the only way they hurt Americans who are forced to sell chinese made goods.  They're running out of ammo but not running out of hackers.  It could have been like others are saying you clicked on a fake email or something but that doesn't mean there wasn't a security breach at ebay.  would they even reveal that?  Government doesn't tell the truth,  why should they?  no one is minding the store.
