I am a shoe seller her on eBay and today, I found out that a bunch of items that I had listing (thousands of views and hundreds of watchers) got unlisted for some reason. Is this happening to anyone else??

No, all my listings are still there. But eBay does have a policy that says they will remove listings that haven’t sold in a while. There’s always a reason.

I appreciate the reply, but all my items that got unlisted were all selling. Some of them even sell a few every day. This is unbelievable. Do you think eBay CS will be able to relist the items with the watchers and sold intact?

Is it possible the 30 days were up and they were just re-indexing? Maybe they have come back online?
Sorry this happened to you.

What do you mean by "unlisted"?
Do you mean ended?
Can you give us an item number for one of these unlisted items?

when an item is ended by a seller it does not get deleted
ended listing will go to the unsold listings page
if you want to delete an item it needs to be done from the unsold items page
unsold items and deleted items are different things
have you looked at your unsold items page?

You do have about 10 unsold listings that ended today. All of which were ended by you.

I appreciate the reply guys! So I do know about the reindexing every 30 days, however, whenever that happens it doesn't deactivate my listing or anything. Some of the listings that got closed were up for almost 2 years with no issues whatsoever. As for what I mean by "unlisting", I mean eBay literally ended my listing. I checked on my ended listing tab and saw all the listings eBay took down for no reason. I can relist, however, a lot of those listing has thousands of viewers, hundreds of sales, and hundreds of watchers. That data is valuable and I would like that data back for each listing that was ended.

Just another good reason to occasionally end a listing and then relist with sell similar. Just yesterday I sold a book, always a slow selling category, that has been listed off and on for about 5 years.

I just saw a post on the shipping board by a seller stating many of his listings were just ended and he couldn't find them. I saw several sneaker listings ended today in his unsold list. He wondered if it was because he hadn't updated his shipping. Could it be something to do with the authenticity program?

If you have an item up for 2 years and hundreds of watchers, that is not a good thing for me. As a seller, I will DELIBERATELY end all most ALL of my listings on day 29. I will tweak it a bit by dd more photos or new photos or adjust the price and then start it using SELL SIMILAR. Listings that keep relisting will sink lower and lower in the categories.
IF you can't find the listing, do a search of unsold by the title of the book and hopefully you can find. I would retweak it a bit if that is the only copy of the book.

If those listings were up for 2 years, during which you allowed them to be auto-relisted every 30 days, my guess is that they were ended for the reason shown in post 2 posted by @ebooksdiva .

The OP said they had hundreds of sales, so I don't see ebay delisting them just because they were "old" listings.

I had a brand new, with tags and boxed winter overcoat that was auto-relisted every 30 days. I had this item up for some time, certainly more than 2 years, maybe 4-5 years if I think about it. Every now and then I will change the price to try and sell item depending on the season. One day, I deleted the listing as my +1 though that it will make a great bday gift to a mutual friend of ours, once we found out it was not the right sized I re-activated the listing back again, no change in wording, title, pictures. Within 2 weeks it was removed and I received a vero notification. I'm not going to waste my time & argue with eBay on this, there are other venues where I can put this for sale.
Sometimes there is no rhyme or reason for what eBay does, and if you look at their t&c, their actions are justified. It is their platfrom, their rules.

Are you authorized to sell all those brand-name new shoes by those companies?
You appear to be selling large quantities and sizes of new Nikes, Asics, etc. like a shoe store would.
Where are you getting all your inventory for all those sizes???
Perhaps that is the issue.
