I sold a brand new sealed 3tb Hitachi portable hard drive to him back in early May 2017. He filed a chargeback claim after 119 of item delivery and Paypal just ruled against me in the case without any reason. This guy will leave good review for the purchase and file chargeback against you. Just beware!!!
If anyone has any suggestion as to how i can get back my money from Paypal, Please HELP me. I am deseperately in need of help.
Thanks,
heiii3

What was the reason for the chargeback?
Do you have proof of delivery?
And as the poster above said, you are not allowed to publicly call someone out on the forums. You may want to self-report the post so that persons name can be edited out by a mod.

All the proof of delivery (online delivery confirmation) is gone since USPS purged the system after 90 days. I even asked them for an archived record and they said they didnt have it.
This buyer is a scammer so i just warn other ebay seller. His account looks normal with 190 positive review and even left good review for me after the purchase.
I tried to edit but i dont know how. If i am against the forum rule please help me out. I am not a new ebay seller but i am definitely novice here.
Thanks!

You will need to speak to a PayPal rep and find out why they decided against you. I believe you are allowed to challenge the decision once, but that's it. I'd call them ASAP.

What is the chargeback claim for?
That might help someone here to advise you.
So sorry this happened to you, and I hope you get your money back!

contact paypal and get the reason. If they are claiming Item Not Received the tracking number will be in the details of the transaction on paypal.

But the buyer left positive FB so they must have received it, right?

The claim was transaction not authorize. This is a scam since he left good review for me right after he received the item. I don't understand how paypal still favored him since this is clearly nonsense to me.

The claim was transaction not authorize.
Then there are two ways you might still be able to resolve this.
If you have a receipt for the postage (either from the post office or from eBay, PayPal or another shipping service), call paypal and explain that this should be covered under Seller Protection. It does not matter that the tracking is expired; for Unauthorized you just need proof that it was shipped.
Otherwise, contact the buyer directly. Many Unauthorized Payment disputes aren't scams; they are the result of consumers receiving notices from their bank that their account may have been compromised. The bank then asks the consumer to challenge any unrecognized transactions. That challenge goes to paypal as a Retrieval Request (or "soft chargeback"), and is typically resolved by the seller providing proof of shipping, or by the buyer cancelling the chargeback when he remembers the transaction to be legitimate.
Good luck...

The time to do something about it is when you first hear of the chargeback, it sounds to me like you already lost. If so, you're done most likely. BTW, most chargebacks are a misunderstanding, not recognizing the charge, bank letter, etc. and can be cleared up with an email or two to the buyer. If this was for an unauthorized transaction, you are protected for that IF you responded to the case (which I think you may not have done). Paypal only requires proof of shipping (not delivery) in a unauthorized transaction case. You need to look through your emails and find the one where it shows the details of the item being shipped out and show it to them. I just had one of these a couple of week ago and I uploaded the required documents and my money was released (and I won the case). These are easy to win but NOT if you ignore them.
