This morning I wake up to a vero notice that read once again,
How can ebay continue to allow 3rd party agents to use bots to auto flag listings? Don't tell me they're just complying. This is illegal for someone to file such a false claim. It's also a site disruption. It obviously does no good to call a call center, nor did it do any good to contact ebay on facebook or vero. I already proved to this 3rd party hack that I purchased the good directly from the manufacturer but bots don't know that, nor do they know the item is no longer manufactured. This is abuse, nothing but purely wicked abuse. They know how much it would cost for someone to sue them so they abuse the system by using bots. This message board is full of complaints about them but ebay does nothing to remind them filing a false claim is not only against the law but is also against ebay rules.

My problem with ebay is they don't enforce their own rules. If someone is abusing the system they need to tell them no more. Redpoint=troll. They're a sie disruption and ebay needs to stop allowing 3rd party jokers to make false claims. Claims should come from the manufacturer. I want someone to sue with more meat on their bone.

Not necessarily. eBay has agreed to remove all items that a VeRO member has asked to be pulled. Some VeRO members simply don’t want their items sold on eBay because they think it ‘cheapens the Brand’.
The word ‘right’ relates mainly to our relationship with the government … and not to private companies. eBay bans lots of ‘legal’ items for a variety of reasons.
And it has always been risky to relist a previously pulled item. They seem to stay in a bot’s memory forever. ☹️

Using the brand name or selling the item? I don't see how it can be legal to restrict a person from selling something they own. I also fail to see them actually targeting me in that way. This is just random bot blank. I have probably 10-15 listings from the manufacturer. They wouldn't just needle 1 oe 2 items if they didn't want me to sell. Ebay is full of Pleaser/demonia items. In both instances the bot is flagging items no longer in the company's catalog.

My problem is that I cannot determine whether you are right or whether you wrong, because you did not answer any of my questions.
That aside ...
Here is an eBay rule from the user agreement:
"we reserve the right to refuse, modify, or terminate all or part of our Services to anyone for any reason at our discretion"

So you're now a self declared judge and jury? You're not going to find the item on ebay so why should I tell you? I gave the manufacturer. What more need you know? They did not flag all of my listings manufactured by their client, only the ones that are no longer manufactured. This isn't rocket science. This is what is wrong with artificial intelligence. I'm not posting my sales receipt here either. Anyone who has been attacked by these jokers knows what is going on.

Not if they file the correct paperwork and tell Ebay they do not want their stuff listed on Ebay.

Explain why they only flagged 1 item at a time? This is a bot not a human filing these things.

In some cases no. I buy from a variety of manufacturers and distributors. Some of them state in theirs terms of agreement that I can sell their products on my own independent website, but I can not sell their items in any third party marketplace, and they specifically mention eBay and Amazon. Very early on I missed that codicil and, not realizing exactly how sensitive some companies can be, I went ahead and listed it. They had it taken down and then sent me a note telling me that my account was closed and they would no longer allow me to buy their products.
Yes, I know about the doctrine of first sale. But if as a part of that original purchase I made certain agreements not to sell on eBay, then that trumps it.
Do you have rights. Yes. But they are subservient to the company that makes the product and owns the trademark and the copyright.

That is so uncalled for. No one here is your enemy. The only reason for asking questions is to try to figure out the source of the problem ... and provide options on might be done about it.
We not here to defend eBay ... OR to help trash eBay. We are here to help people navigate eBay the easiest way possible ... assuming that they already have decided to use eBay for whatever reasons they may have.

If eBay complies with requests like that, I've never heard of that but you must be aware of were they state that? If so, there should be an actual list of brand names that eBay will not allow on the site at all. If in fact ebay specifically tells these companies that they will not allow their items to be sold here than sellers should be made aware of that. They shouldn't be given VERO marks against them as that is not how VERO was set up to be used.

I think a brand name owner pays for this service to remove listings for pre-owned items to reduce the competition to them for selling originals. Even though the brand is embedded in the product, they are flagging and removing listings. Mine item sold and payout was complete before my listing was removed. Yes, they even remove listings on sold items. What a racket!
