No, eBay already has messaging that they monitor to prevent off eBay transactions and any other potential policy violations.

No, but why would you want to send someone a "automatic"message?

You can have Q&A set up that would give your buyers an answer to their questions without having to respond.
Communications With Buyers
You can find it in your account settings under Communication preferences.

Automatic messaging isn't the best route to providing good customer service. I would be more focused on the fact that you are selling digitally delivered items that are restricted on ebay and losing my account for violating the ddg policies. Those are not yours to sell and you can run into bigger problems than just Ebay.

Is it against policies to set up automatic messaging?

I will check this out, thank you

I am fully within eBay policies and it is not your concern.

Hi @robloxunits
I believe you can set up certain ‘automatic messages’ to buyers … such as thanking them for their purchase (after a purchase is made).
Is that the type of message you mean?

No kidding, But sellers do have the option to create Q & A. It's under Manage Communication with buyers. Sellers can create FAQs Those FAQs are shown to buyers before they send you a message.

You want to know if you're allowed to send something that doesn't exist?

Yes something like that.
