Automatic Relisiting?

Two auctions that ended today were automatically relisted. Is this something new? I've always relisted when I get free listings available. It was kind of scary when I didn't see the relist button in Unsold. I went to revise to find where it says relisting up to 7x. I feel like I have no control over my own auction now.

is there not a box you checked on your listing page that will automatically relist if item is not sold?

Are these actually Auctions or are they Fixed Price listings?

FP has since March 18, 2019, become Good Til Cancelled.

This means you have to monitor your about to close listings on your Active Listings page and End any that you don't want to relist.

Hmm- I notice that your 43 listings are all Auctions but they also include a Buy It Now.

I wonder if the BIN is the reason for the relist.

It shouldn't be, but....

Most listings these days are Fixed Price, and most Auctions do include Buy It Now. This apparently appeals to the preference of customers for immediate gratification.  True auctions are down to less than 15% of listings and dropping.

If you used a mobile device to write up your auction listing, then yes they will automatically relist after 7 days (first hand experience with this).  There is no turning that off on the mobile device (where-as you can click it off using a PC). ONLY on auctions that is, not on 30 day / fixed these are GTC now.
