I've sold shoes on this platform for years and have never had an issue. This was the first time I sold a pair of shoes that were sent to an authenticator. Is that the norm for all shoes now? I wasn't aware when I listed the item it would be sent to a third party. These shoes are 100 percent new never worn or I would have stated that just like I have with previous shoes I've sold that were won. I stated these were new without box. When I talked to the rep she tells me she can tell by the photos because of the shoe laces, REALLY??? I don't know how to attach a photo on here but that is a flat out lie!!! There was absolutely nothing wrong with these shoes and now I'm expected to pay the original $14 shipping and another $14 return for a decision they made that's not accurate at all. I know for a fact the buyer would not have an issue with these shoes!!!!!! This is so ridiculous and I've just about had it with all these changes costing me more and more money on top of all their fee increases in the last 2 years!!!!!!!

Sadly eBay CS and eBay Authenticators are bad 😉
Best way to avoid this kind of situation or something similar is to just put Condition as Used and simply write that looks like new or new condition with no box. Well at least this is what i do with Slot cars that i sell - No one complained yet 😉

I sell used shoes and state it is used but why should I when the shoes are new and I stated new without box. I'll just avoid selling shoes when it has to be sent to their authenticator! I know the customer would have been satisfied with the purchase if they would have received it! They also refunded the buyer before I received my merchandise back!!!!

Buyer never had your shoes. No reason that the buyer should have to wait for a refund.
