Authentication department is a joke!!

I am having a VERY difficult time with authentication department. I have had literally all my items come back to me. Each time being their fault. One time I was credited, other times it was just a loss. My last order was a guarantee and I was rest assured that it would be fine to relist. So I put a note in the box to read the description and the importance of how the authentication should be properly done. Well guess what! They sent it back, and when I called, they said the authenticator said the shoes were dirty and had a rock inside. These shoes are 100% brand new, so that's impossible. They must of got offended by the note. They were already previously authenticated as new, so there's proof that the authenticator was just being petty. My buyer is mad and wants them, I'm losing money, Ebay is losing money, and the authentication department thinks this a game. There's gotta be a way to report these people and have someone look into this. It's happening over and over. 

I don't even know where to go from here...

The idea that ebay has thousands of trained "authenticators" at beck and call is absurd to the highest degree.

 

All they will say is that they cannot authenticate

 

not that it isn't authentic or fake, just that they couldn't tell

Was the note mentioned in your description?

If not, it wouldn't be as described and it might cause it to fail.

I'm sorry this is happening to you. I think your note rubbed the person the wrong way.

I wonder -- is it possible they mix up items?

    I viewed your original listing and came to the same conclusion as the others, it was the note you put into the box ( and ticked some child- like employee off) and suddenly your note became a rock.

     On the thread I sent you, poster onefootflipper makes a good suggestion.

They previously authenticated the same pair once before and said they didn't see where it said ripped box in the description. So she said add it in the title and relist. So to have a note stating the description,  it was very petty. It's concerning that they can stop ebay making their money,  from pettiness. 4x they told me they don't know why it didn't get approved. The note was the last option at the point. Ridiculous considering how much money I make ebay.

When I called,  the guy said it was because they saw dirt on the bottom of the shoe and a rock. The shoes were brand new,  in box. Also previously got authenticated and they said it was a mistake. So it was a power play from the authenticator. Has to be young people.

Yea, I agree. 100% the note,  which is horrible. 4x I had them mistakes and apologize,  but made no sale. These were the second attempt for these,  so only thing I could try was a note. Can't win for losing here.

I have sent 4 items and all were sent back. I call and they say they made a mistake. Even refunded $20 one time,  a promise not to get a fee for another time. They told me exactly what to put on listing, and it still doesn't work. At that point, a note to read description was all I had to try. Then an employee gets offended and lies. So there's gotta be something done about that. Ebay is also losing money on these situations.
