I had 3 auctions this evening that ended with bids on them but show as unsold. Was there glitch this evening? This really makes me look bad to the buyers with the winning bids. I will have to contact them to let them know I didn't cancel my auctions. My items that did not end this evening are still listed. Did anyone else have this problem?

Have you checked your email? If eBay removes a listing, they send the seller an email explaining why.

Are you able to look at the bidding details page to see the status of the bids? We’re there any bid retractions that went unnoticed?

No retractions. In fact, now they are showing as sold and I am receiving payments. It must have been a glitch.

I watched them until the end of auction and when I went in to my sold items after they all ended they weren't there. I signed out, signed back in and still nothing. I noticed my unsold items was higher than it had been an low and behold there they were. Now they are in my sold items folder. Very, Very Strange indeed!

This same problem happened to lots of sellers at the end of February. I'm guessing that eBay doesn't have enough computing power to handle month-end processing in a timely fashion.

On ebay, there's a glitch every evening...

this has happened to me several times in the past few months. It does self correct, eventually.

You can fix this problem by going to Listings and clicking on Ended. Select the "sold" auction that is incorrectly shown as unsold. Click on the Bid history. Refresh the page. Sometimes you have to refresh more than once. When you see Send invoice under Activity the problem has been fixed and the auction is correctly shown as Sold and appears in Orders Awaiting shipment.
