How to put items on vacation

I do not have a store.

I am going on vacation and need to put my items on "hold".

I have a 1 day handling, and will not be able to honor that while I am not home.

How, as a non store seller, put my items on hold?

Thanks

Go to your Active Selling List.

At the top left there is a box.  Click on it. All the items in that list will now be checked off .

Go toActions-> End

Click on that and all the items checked off will end and move to your Unsold List.

When you return, go to the Unsold list, check off all the items you want to relist and they will.

Since you have only 101 items, you should be able to relist them Free when you return as non-Store sellers have 250 Free Listings a month.

It is, in my opinion, better to have your items completely invisible than to accept a transaction that you cannot complete, frustrating your customer.

^This

Many buyers have a hard enough time reading descriptions properly let alone a notice that says you are away.

Hi! @reallynicestamps Non-store sellers now have the capability to hide their listings while on vacation or away without ending all their listings. It is called Time Away. I have used it twice so far and it is awesome. I just set the date parameters and choose whether to hide the listings or not. A banner will appear above the listing telling the buyer they are away until such-and-such a date.

@Anonymous

Not "This".

Much easier to use Time Away, hide all listings with a couple of clicks, restart them when you get back or on a preset date with a single click.

When listings are hidden they don't show up in Search, they can still be found if for example they are on a watch list or the user knows the listing number but there will be no Buy Button so it's impossible for someone to purchase.

@fashunu4eeuh

I'd forgotten that Vacation which used to be for Store subscribers only had changed its name and been extended to all sellers.
Thank you for the reminder.

Am I the only one who sees 561 listings when I click on View seller's items next to OP's name?

If you click on one of the listings, you'll see this message at the top: "The seller is away until Apr 03, 2021. If you buy this item, expect a delay in shipping."

No, I do too and the most recent one was listed Mar 24, so it's not like she just added 460 overnight.

Also, I'm not a fan of having that banner but allowing buyers to still buy...Buyers tend not to read stuff if you get my drift.

Nothing looks "hidden" to me at all like mentioned in previous posts.

This seller has chosen the option to continue to allow sales.  Listings are hidden if the seller chooses the other option: to pause sales.

Thank you. The former seems risky IMO.

Not to say, with so many listings, wouldn't it be cheaper to have a store and being able to use the actual vacation settings...?
