Hi I am new to selling and I have auctioned off 2 items that have unscratched codes that unlock an item in a game (which is the valuable part of the items), however it comes with a physical version of the item. My buyer lives in Poland and I am in the US and has already submitted payment, but I am worried about the buyer doing a chargeback or claiming that the item did not come as advertised i.e. scratching the code and then putting in a claim. Do I have any protections against this as a seller?
Also they’ve requested I scratch the codes and send them by email which I’ve already informed them I won’t do since that’s clearly a scam.
Any help would be appreciated.
