Auction is live and someone has messaged me with a crazy over the top buy it now offer

I’m curious how others handle this. I listed a piece of Pyrex it is a rare piece and very little info is available. It got multiple offers right away and now has bids. I received a crazy offer last night for buy it now. It seems that I can’t accept a best offer anymore. I guess I would have to end and repost? It doesn’t seem like the ethical thing to do has anyone run into this?

I said 800.  Usually even a hot item cools down in the middle but this one hasn't gone a day without bids yet, and I smell sniper bots revving diesel for the end, ha. 
What I don't understand is why it says there are only 2 bidders.  I count 5.

I don't blame @jrho2561 for not telling us how much the offer was.  I wouldn't either.

I'm more curious about where she got them.  Estate sale?  Garage sale? Junk store?  Grandma's kitchen?

Sure, while the auction is active, that offer should not be disclosed here.  It could affect the amount bid by a potential participant who reads these posts.  And let the OP tell us the origin story after it’s all done (but not to distract from or interfere with packing up those babies).
