Howdy all!
Got a question, was sitting here wondering to myself, do watchers get notified if their watched item listing gets a listing revision? I am asking because I was thinking of putting an END date on some of my ridiculously watched items (you know, 26+ watchers) by added the text at the top of the listing description : "This listing, if not sold sooner, will be permanently removed on such n' such date". Noticed another poster sad about their item not sold in over a month, and Crepes! I have stuff over a year and not sold! So this was an idea I am having...will it work???

If the item is in somebody's shopping cart there will be a banner that says it was revised.
If the item is on a watch list there will be no notification for the buyer.

I think the watcher is only notified if their is a price reduction.

Ok, thanks! It was just an idea I was smoking in my pipe!

Just an FYI/2 cents worth here.... Years ago, I worried about the same thing...NEEDLESSLY. Now, I "sell similar", due to better listing exposure; But here's the main reason. As most of my listings are OBO anyway, WHY would I ever think, that if they (watchers) didn't offer/buy in the first 30 days, that they would buy, if a listing renewal is made privy to them? I relist (sell similar) for NEW viewers. The shoppers who are seeing the listing for the first time. I could not care less about "career watchers", that will never become a buyers. That's unrealistic pie-in-the-sky.
