I sell PENS.. Re: DEFAMATORY NEGATIVE FEEDBACK - eBay does not care about sellers.
I describe items better than the manufacturer does.
I have sold hundreds of these. The cap is stamped made in FRANCE - The factory box has the SKU & Model # Says Made in France - Title Made in France. Details- Made in France - Description- Made in France. Picture shows stamp and label.. "Special Blue" Show this on Parker Pen website.
Buyer says "Not made in France" Seller is dishonest and a liar" Color is wrong and plastic is cheap" Then says more **bleep**. He tried calling me from my card but I was in vacation mode got mad because i did not answer on Thanksgiving. No dispute just straight up defamation . I refunded the money said - you know the story. Buyer tells me to F off.. Real buyer? or a seller who can't stand I sell these the lowest cost on eBa??y.. Anyway, just a lecture from eBay.. I will send legal notice to buyer and eBay is perpetrating the defamation for allowing this to stand without even looking at it. Are you happy? Like losing money? Sick of losing money and being blackmailed every sale

You know what I see when I read that immature feedback from buyer?, I see a very professional, level headed seller replying to a false claim. This neg would never stop me from buying from you, it was just wonderful.

Hi @shop4pens
It sounds like the buyer is accusing you of selling a counterfeit item ... and NOT saying that you didn't put 'Made in France' in your listing.
Are you certain the pens you sell are authentic? This isn't an accusation ... just wondering whether you know for sure that your pens were actually made by Parker. You might be able to have the neg removed by eBay if you can prove that you purchased them from a legitimate seller of Parker pens.

You make a huge mistake by not accepting returns. For many, this labels you as a scammer.
Buyers like sellers who stand behind their sales. I understand you refunded, but the initial impression is that you won't work to correct errors. Add in that eBay will often force returns on sellers meaning that the buyer often gets refunded AND gets to keep the item. True.
I suggest you change your sales to Free Returns. You might be surprised at how few you get. Plus, when someone accuses you of this, you can point out that your Free Return policy would make it silly for you to lie about a product.
Other than that, IF you can prove the buyer is a competitor, that might be reason enough for eBay to void the negative. But you'd need concrete proof.

Perhaps the buyer opened an NAD case and the OP neglected to mention that fact?

Yes I am a Parker Pen dealer
I do take returns back without question FREE
If a pen is $10 and it cost $.3.75 to and from I tell them to keep the pen so they won't give me NEG
Problem is EBAY will not even listen to SELLERS - They just don't care.
You are ON YOUR OWN... Some buyers don't read or are just hostile and vindictive.
Customer Service is expected from SELLERS but eBay NAH...

Sorry this is what you are dealing with - unfortunately, every sell deals with this also. Some more, based on the items they sell.
I gave up on refunds/partials. Return for a FULL refund. I do make them return something to me. Amazing, how many I never hear from again and just go away. I am happy to accept a return, but the Buyer does need to return it to us.
