Are own views count as impressions?

After we listing an item, if we look at our own listings through the seller hub, is eBay counting that as impressions and page views, if it is yes, then how do we exactly know what our real impression is?

@binmen99 No, your views of your own listings do not count in the meter for views. The system knows it is your own account.

I also thought it is like that, But it is happening as I described. I think this is happening because this is the time period of updating eBay

Are you saying you can increase your views five times by clicking on your listing five times in a row?

yes, It is happening to me. I think it was a bug from eBay, I asked just for curiosity.

yes, it is counting like you said, It is adding to my impressions, a lot of bugs...uuh

It is technically not a bug when you use incognito. Allow me to explain.

Ebay uses tools like tracking codes to identify a viewer and prevent multiple impressions. When you are in incognito the browser will block tracking sometimes by using a DNT "Do Not Track" request. And this is usually honored by trackers, but some will ignore the request. Sometimes people using a VPN may add additional views if they look at it once with the VPN on and again with it off that's 2 views you will see

Well this doesn't happen to me. If you feel certain than you should report this to eBay tech because that's not the design purpose. 

@whattheactualfox yes if you go incognito or use another account, you would get one click the first time looking at the listing. The ISP is recognized along with the unique account ID. There is no purpose to continuous view counts for the same account....
