Are EBAY 'fixes' generating more sales for you?

How's sales for you?   Better?  Mine are still slower than past history.  I expect I can't get around revising all listings with the hope that will help.

Since the new fixes went into place my sales have significantly dropped. I'm only earning about half of what I was per week since the new fixes have gone into place and I've updated almost all my items to the new listing designations.

I have in this month more then I did all of LM.  Down about 60% to LY.  Etsy is about the same number of sales BUT down $$ compared to LY

In addition, high shipping rates which are going to rise again in  Jan 2020 and sales tax are all factors effecting sales. Ebay attempting to place blame on sellers is not finding a solution for all, sellers and buyers.

Our sales are up 80% over last year. But we've dropped prices and promote so we're probably actually making about the same as last year.

Something strange is going on, that is for sure. There are times I can search for my items and not find them under one browsing session, yet I can on another. 

And I use a code at the end of my items to tell me which bin location there are in - and more often than not, I'll have a run of sales just from that specific location. I am not sure if it is related to the location or the date I posted the items. Those are older items than have been in the store for a while. 

Just strange.....

Nope. I had 100+ listings with lost required data from the Oct. glitches. I've gone through 500 listings one by one and fixed the issues.

Sales are WAY down. Down by 30% still. Promotions, sales...nothing is helping. I've called eBay 3 times. Nothing helps. Frustrated.

Do you mean you use "the code," in your title end? If so they have a "custom label," field not too far below the title when creating listing that you can put that in and it will show up there for only you to see. Keep in mind if you end the listing and sell somewhere else and forgot that code you have to go in and act like you are relisting to be able to view it again. For some reason that field disappears once it get put into unsolds. So if you use this "custom label," field and it's sold and is in your waiting to be shipped in will be visible right from your list, so no need to waste any title characters that way.

should offer free shipping on your $3.00 items!....Lol. Oh and make sure you ad tracking info

to the shipping of the "Free" shipping. (Rolling eyes)

So you are working harder to essentially break even year over year. I own a treadmill but don't work on it.

Ebay is not a place for the casual seller anymore.
