I was wondering if sellers are using the Q&A feature, To me it seems such a waste of time, If you have a good accurate description, basically all questions should be answered from that & if there is any additional question the customer can contact you, Now that being said many customers do not even bother reading descriptions, So why would they bother with Q&A??

I tried it, but people did not seem to use it.
Not surprising though, as many buyer’s do not read item descriptions.

Yes, I use it. For me, it is beneficial in reducing the number of buyer questions regarding combined shipping discounts. I have a blurb regarding combined shipping discounts in my descriptions. However, since I added the information to Q&A a couple of years ago, I hardly get questions about combined shipping discounts anymore.

We do! Very similar wording to @mcdougle4248 , just in a different market so of course it's a little different. It isn't very clear to me where it shows up on a desktop browser, but in the mobile app it's nice and visible, far more so than the description in fact (since you have to tap to view our description, but the first Q&A question is shown in full right on the listing page):

if a buyer asks a question that may be helpful to others I just add the answer to the description

@bashort that's a great option when it only applies to the one listing. The Q&As are not just for individual listings, though, they'll show up on all your listings (actually, there are both, you can have answered questions for specific listings, and a seller Q&A section, but the one being discussed here is the seller Q&A, and I think the item Q&As don't show up or are hard to find now).

Can you bulk edit that for combined shipping??

@meme6253 , that text is not specific to the listing, it’s from our general Q&As, so there’s no need for a bulk edit if you want to change it.

Q&A is most likely useful for some categories.
I do not use it. I believe item specifics and description are enough for what I sell. Your listing page is fine too. You have plenty Item Specifics and a good description.
And I think a good description is important because there are still potential buyers not using their phone but rather using a desktop computer or laptop to shop in certain categories.

i use it, unfortunately, buyers do not.
I actually unchecked the option for buyer to send you message at checkout - don't need anyone to tell me how to package and ship vinyl - been doing it 30 yrs thanks and that's always message they include is ship/packaging "instructions"
