Anyone else recently have a random MC011 restriction? Recently I received the MC 011 selling permanent suspension despite uploading documents that prove my identity, banking statements and receipts and the banking statements match the purchases for items that I sold on eBay. My metrics are all good to. After uploading all the documents I received an email in about a minute saying my account was permanently restricted although their email says it can take up to three days to review the documents thoroughly which it seems like there was no thought put into it whatsoever. I’ve requested to speak to a supervisor about six times and cannot get anyone to get back to me. Anybody else having this issue and found a way to resolve it or to get someone to actually help you? And I know they will be haters out there so here are screenshots of my metrics that show my account is in good standing. I don’t know if they’re scammers out there or if eBay got hacked or what but something
is definitely up. By the way I only have one seller account. If anyone has any advice please post. This has been a nightmare considering this is my full-time job and how I support my family. So far eBay seems to care less About getting back to me. And it really stinks because I really love eBay And how it’s giving me independence. I mean is this just what happens when you are a good seller?

So sorry to read that you received a MC011.
Your metrics look excellent. However, all those recent sold used Apple Phones might be the reason for the MC011. Was your MC011 specific to anything in particular from your store? Did you provide everything that they requested from you? Did the receipts/sales invoices show that the items were being shipped to you?

Yep, it is all those expensive Apple phones and products you sold at incredibly low prices that caught the attention of eBay.

Well, the good news is your account is no longer suspended, as I can see 221 active listings from your profile, so it looks like they sorted things out.

They never removed any of my listings. They are still active just can’t be sold

They were all sold on auction and are with the trending rate, so not incredibly low priced at all. I have been buying and re selling used iPhones for over a year. My inventory comes from a local established electronics company. Also I have my receipts with bank statements that back up every purchase.

Yes everything has been provided that was requested. I have receipts and my bank statement that shows the purchases. Spent almost 20k on inventory last month.

Unfortunately, the items are blocked from being purchased. If you try to go to checkout to purchase one, you get this error message:

They are low prices because they are older phones and that's about what they go for.
I just wish ebay wouldn't try to skew the numbers, since an auction with BIN will show both prices in green when selecting all, but selecting auction only will give you the actual selling price and bin only will give you the buy it now price(that it was never sold for).

It's not random.
You may think it is, but it's not.
The reason for it is contained in the one message ebay sends you in regards to the suspension; it's usually very short so it's easy to miss but it's in there.

It didn’t say anything in the message. When I called the CSR, literally said it was “random” and eBay will do it from time to time to verify accounts.

Did they ever resolve this? Its the 11th now, it shouldn't take ebay this long to verify the info they requested from you.
That's weird they left your listings live with no way to purchase, I've never seen ebay do that before. Usually they hide your listings by dumping them into the unsold list.

These violations are never "random". You may not like them or agree with them, but they aren't random. Ebay always has a reason for them and it states the reason in the email you got notifying you of the problem.
If you have complied with everything they asked you to do, you now need to contact Ebay and work out why you are still restricted from selling certain listings. It might be the only way you get it resolved.

No they never did resolve it. I was told about five times a the supervisor will get back to me never did. After 3 weeks I eventually had to send an email to the CEO in order to get a response. The fact that I had to do that to get a response from eBay only goes to show there is major problem in their review system. What it came down to is the two businesses that I buy merchandise from from are both local to Kansas City where I live and have brick and mortar locations. I uploaded the receipts/invoices from them with my bank statements that match and eBay told me they cannot verify that they are reputable supplier’s despite them have a eBay stores as well. I even sent eBay a screenshot of their business licenses that are public online to show that they are reputable and legitimate. I don’t know how a eBay says they can’t verify that when it literally took me less than five minutes to go online to a government site and search for their licenses. So there was that and they also said I had a high number in buyer complaints Which also doesn’t seem to make a whole lot of sense because my negative feedback complaints are well within what eBay deems as a top rated seller. So considering those metrics are really good and whenever you look at the eBay site as a seller you think wow eBay is telling me I’m doing a good job….well really in the background they’re just marking it against you apparently. When I sold over 8000 items in this last year and have less than 50 negative feedbacks I say that’s pretty good. There’s always going be a small percentage of either something I listed wrong , which was part of it, people that you just can’t make happy Or buyers that just don’t read the listing and are mad when the item has something wrong with it when it was listed as non-functioning with a description that stated what was nonfunctioning. Ebay also said that I was affiliated with suspended other accounts And that they could not verify that I am who I say I am Despite me sending them my government ID and my government issued passport.
I’ve never been affiliated with a suspended account other than maybe If was on Wi-Fi somewhere of an ip address that had someone that has a suspended account that use the same IP address on the Wi-Fi at some point in time.
The liaison that the CEO had contact me I offered to do a FaceTime or video conference to show them that there is an issue with their review process and algorithms And that I really am the same person in the documents that I uploaded. Apparently that is what Amazon does now which it’s 2022 so why would you not do that since we have the capability. When I offered that I did not get a response about it And my guess is probably because eBay does not want to admit that their “proprietary software” that they use for a review process has a major flaw in it. I can guarantee there’s thousands and thousands of other good sellers that get suspended for the same reason. There is definitely a flaw in the eBay review process and if they choose to video conference with me It will validate that. I was on track to do about $1.2 million in sales this year. And I’m sure there’s a lot of other sellers that have been kicked off by ebays flawed system that were planning on doing more than that.
I would think eBay would want to maybe take a look at their review process and correct the obvious issue. When they are doing this they are just pushing good sellers like myself to go drive those sales with a different online merchant that is a competitor of eBay.
I’m very disappointed with eBay and this whole situation. I’ve been nothing but transparent and honest with them and this is how I’m treated.
