Anyone experiencing late post office Shipping On first class packages?

I have shipped items on March 1,2019 and every day since then and am yet to see any tracking on all first class mail? Anybody else is experiencing the same issue? Located in Chicago

>>GD or TRS? So extending handling time does not work for me.

Fully aware of the requirements.

Not extending the handling time maybe also doesn't work for you. A quandry.

You aren't meeting some eBay expected delivery dates chasing GD and/or TRS for whatever reason (USPS failure, just bad luck, whatever), and seem to be making it out to be a "it's not fair" and an "eBay HAS to do something" issue.

eBay doesn't care about "fair", only about achieving their goals. Meeting short EDDs seems to be primary to them right now, and they aren't going to change anything unless it works towards that end ("fair", seller happiness, or individual seller survival play no part in that)

Giving a 10% discount for 1 day handling (and other performance criteria) or a GD enticement on your listings are incentives to try to get you to meet those goals, but if you can't, there are 100 other sellers who might just end up with good USPS results and have better luck ready to step up and try.

I don't think it's "fair" either, but all that gets me or you in eBay's sandbox is..... a big bag of nothing.

Determine the risk/reward and either chase the 10%, miss the EDDs, get metrics dings, take buyer flak for "where's my pkg", get SNAD returns due to late deliveries on non-GD sales, or forgo the carrots and extend your handling time*.

*if you extend your handling time and overperform, eBay may/will internally fudge your handling time and you end up where you started - but not TRS to boot. (also not "fair" Smiley Sad)

@tech-squads   No, I had not noticed ... I check the Seller Dashboard from time to time and if the on time acceptance scan section is showing 100% I move on ...

But with your post (thank you by the way) I will check a few this week.

Yeah, I do EVERYTHING ebay has asked me to do. I ship in 24 hours, I offer free returns, I am in the guaranteed delivery program and I also promote many of my items. I am also a top rated power seller. My sales are up over 100% from last year this time. So I would say that what I am doing is working out for me. So extending handling times would be a mistake. Your suggestion to do so does not help me or anyone else experiencing last deliveries. Actually your suggestion is a poor one and if followed MAY cause a seller's sales to plummet.

AND the analogy of "chasing carrots" is quite poor also. Obviously I have eaten the carrot 100% more times than last March. Sooooo, I am changing nothing unless I have major losses to my business.

Sorry that my post expressing frustration over late deliveries by the USPS triggered you.

My wife got tired of my complaining about un-scanned packages. She met the postal worker at the group mailbox and explained my ebay issues. Now the mail carriers scans everything for us. I have a post-office that I use that also scans everything religiously. I was working in a nearby town and had my daily orders with me and decided to drop them at this new post office. They scanned NOTHING! So it is all in who your mail carrier is and how lazy your local postal workers are imo.
