I have shipped items on March 1,2019 and every day since then and am yet to see any tracking on all first class mail? Anybody else is experiencing the same issue? Located in Chicago

Do you get a receipt when you ship? I had some delays last month with the weather but not much so far this month.
Check where you are shipping to. There has been some nasty weather especially in the south with tornadoes. Good luck. If it gets to be 10days file on USPS. That seems to kick things loose if it is stuck someplace.

Item i sold here is showing in tracking going to arrive late and i think it do to the weather near by.

Yes !! Certain areas are showing delivery on time or delayed shipping. It's all been weather related issues. Except Florida where they always seem to have issues weather related or not !!

Yes, happen quite a bit here where I live. I have items delivered and item was never scanned. I ship USPS. I contact ebay and make my case proving the item was shipped on time, we go back and forth and by the end they have always corrected my account.

I must admit the last time I called ebay was being difficult and said they would not change the ding on my account, but the next day they did remove the late upload tracking. I call EVERYTIME this happens.

I have shipped three things First Class in the past week. All of them were delivered within two days (even the two going all the way across the country) and they all had scans the entire way.

I had a package that was shipped on March 5th and it was never scanned during the whole time to the customer. Not even a delivery scan showing delivered. The customer received the package 3 days after shipping and has already left positive feedback, but no scans the whole time. How can a package not get scanned during it's journey through the postal system?

Have had that happen a couple times. You have to remember there is the human facto involved plus the human factor working with a machine (aka scan gun) factor that comes into play and the factor that some carriers do not take time to read if they are delivering the right package to the right address - had a new carrier deliver over 13 pieces of mail, including FCP, to the wrong address in the first two months - other people in our 'hood had similar issues. Our newer carrier is doing much better. As that saying goes "Stuff Happens" or something like that.

Welcome to 2019 & don't think things will be getting better any time soon. Yes I have made mistakes but was accountable for them and fixed them and didn't do them twice. Different times and different generation.

That usually happens when there is an issue with the label. Did you make sure it was applied to a flat surface of the box and did you cover it with tape to protect it?

Yes I have had a couple of first class deliver late. One was a week late. I even had a Priority Mail deliver late.

I asked my post office clerk about it, she said, "actually we don't guarantee delivery on any mail except overnights".

Ebay needs to add some time for estimated delivery time if the USPS is going to keep delivering after Ebay's set delivery date. On two of the items that were delivered late, buyers sent me messages DEMANDING that I do something to get their purchased item to them. Buyers don't understand that we are powerless to make the post office deliver on Ebay's schedule.

HI Yes Chicago south suburbs. I am seeing weirdness in 1st class packages. Accepted at post office and then not showing up at the Chicago sort facility for 2-3 days. Other strangeness too.

Extend your handling time (and hope eBay doesn't adjust it based on performance)

I am in the guaranteed delivery program, I am also a top rated seller. This means I have to ship within 24 hours of a sale. Are you not aware of the requirements for GD or TRS? So extending handling time does not work for me.

Yes, we have all sorts of problems with First Class shipping and other shipping problems. Package arrive late or have been send to the wrong Post Office to be delivered. Also this morning on a First Class shipping item it had changed it to Parcel shipping charged the wrong amount in the listing. I also have had twice charging under 2.00 Dollars for a First Class 3 oz package it charged for a Letter even that my listing had First Class 3 oz package.
