Anyone else getting screwed over by ebay?

Hi all, so I have been been having a hell of a time trying to reactivate my account. Just wondering if this has happened to anyone else. Advise would be appreciated.

I sold a Galaxy Note20 for $200 and promptly shipped it. However USPS would not deliver to the PO box the buyer listed so they have been holding holding the package for pickup for 2 weeks now. The buyer refuses to claim his package and opened a claim using PayPal. As a result ebay suspended all my listings and is holding over $6,000 of my funds. They got back to me today and to say the buyer won their claim and they are charging me the total cost of the phone plus 20 bucks as a ebay penalty fee! I did everything right and it was totally out of my hands. Is this common for ebay to screw over sellers like this? My account is still frozen on top of that for who know how much longer. Any advise would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!!!

The the last update says schedule redelivery. Not too sure what this means. I did call USPS to inqire about the stats of the package delivery and they told me it would be returned if it wasn't picked up within 2 weeks of attempted delivery. 

The buyer opened the claim directly through paypal. Apparently paypal refunded the buyer and ebay went along with it.

Lol, yeah thats what I am starting to discover! Just another part of doing business with ebay.  Not to sure it's worth it anymore...

Really?, ebay is supposed to look into it for me but I still have not heard anything. And yes the $20 charge was because of paypal claim.

Have you tried recalling the parcel with the phone?

Why let the buyer have both the money and the item?

Yeah, I shipped the camera and promptly recieved Positive Feedback for that listing. I have over 6k is frozzen funds going on 3 weeks now.... Thanks for the reply and happy  holidays!

Yep, first thing I did was call them and they told me I had to wait the full 2 weeks before the parcel would be shipped back to me. This doesn't seem right but the USPS rep assured me that all I could do is wait.

I am sitting on the phone at this moment trying to get eBay to not screw me over on a similar problem. After reading all of these posts, I just have to ask, did you ever get that parcel back?
