This year has been the worst for my shop in terms of scammers or dishonest buyers. I offer great customer service, I am top-rated with a 100% rating and I ship everything on time and with tracking.
The last two months have been the absolute worst when it comes to people trying to scam my shop. This last week alone I have received 3 DNR requests from customers saying that the trading cards they purchased didn't show up. When I check the tracking, it shows delivered days before the DNR request.
I know the routine, respond with the tracking number in the request and if it shows delivered you will be protected. This has worked, so I am not out of money or anything.
I just wanted to know if other sellers are seeing an increase in people trying to get <$20 items refunded even after delivery is shown.
I have only had this issue a few times a year for the last 4 years... but in the last 2 months, I have had over 14 and EVERY one of them showed delivered. I have had a few where the package got halfway to the buyer and then never left a carrier facility and is presumed lost. I issue refunds for that stuff.
It is the strange requests that usually say something like "There is no tracking or any way for me as the buyer to even see if the item was sent". I always include the tracking, so it's like it is an automated system or a copy-paste to try to get nervous sellers to auto-refund for fear of getting negative.
Hope you all are having a better winter selling, thanks for reading the rant!

Given what you are selling, it's not unusual to read that you are getting customers who state they're not receiving their items. The good news is that you accept 30 day returns and pay for the label too. You also provide the tracking as well. So in my opinion you're ok.
What can I say, friend? The scammers are amongst us looking to get everything they can for nothing. I saw on TV the other day that on line scammers is a Multi hundred billion dollar problem and it's getting worse. Can you imagine? And sellers have no protection from the CC chargebacks either. The e commerce platform certainly isn't what it used to be.
All I can state is you've done your best to protect yourself as a seller, so I wish you well and less headaches.
Happy Holidays.

That isn't true..........ebay covers (they will refund) chargebacks for Not Received claims (assuming you have tracking and $750 requirements are met) and they will also cover Not recognized claims (assuming you mail to the address provided by Ebay)..........
