Any possible way to like label your ebay listing so I can label it on my container?

I have many listings for cloths for small figure toys. Sometimes its hard to find them in my containers and I have to search each and everytime to find the correct one in my correct container slot. Any possible way I can like put a number on my listing and then make the same number label to add on my container to sort out faster? So like heres an a example. Cloth 1 goes to Container Labeled in 1, Cloth 34 goes to Container Labeled in 34. Does ebay have a feature like that? I dont want to change my title and add the numbers, becuse it would ruin it, and I dont have enough space for it.

Yes, I do it on just about everything (it also makes it easy to re-order if you use the MFG catalogue number as the label number).

When uou create a listing one of the fields says "custom label". There is no extra charge. Put the information there. Only you can see it - not your buyers.

You can add the field in bulk by customising one of the active pages to show custom label.  Find the customize link on the right side the page, next to the print link.  click it and a pop up will give you the options, click custom label and then save and it will put that column in.........you can move it about if you want.

We did inventory and marked over 1200 items after a number of "lost item" hunts with a written inventory.  We still keep a written one, but in box order, but the box number on the item sure helps find a sold item.

One tip......you can "order" the items by those with/without box numbers by clicking on the label header which will rearrange them as to whether you've put in the box number or not.  That helped when working on so many listings.

You won't find it in manage orders, you have to use Listings.  It can be displayed for Active, Unsold and Drafts.  As previously posted, you can make it visible in the browse and then click the edit slider and go right down the list.

When creating listings you need to use the advanced editor to see the custom label field.  You should be using the advanced listing tool anyways because it avoids a number of eBay created issues.

Go to the drop-down next to your listing and click "add/edit note". You can do this individually or in bulk by using the actions drop-down at the top.

So whats the point of the custom label if I doesnt show me the number when someone orders the item? This basically doesn't sort anything out so I have to look at all my 400 sorters and find the correct one...

It does show on the orders page right below the item name.  It's not a separate column that can be added/removed.  If there's a custom label it's automatically added to the "Purchase Details" column.

I'm going to repeat what I said above because it doesn't require listing revisions.

Go to the drop-down next to your listing and click "add/edit note". You can do this individually or in bulk by using the actions drop-down at the top.

Here's a screenshot that shows both the custom label and the add note. Custom label is visible in Seller Hub - not in My eBay. Notes are visible in both.

If you look at the screen shot I posted in message 3, just below the popup screen, in the dark area you can see b66 ( box 66) in the column next to the $$.  That is of an active page, but also shows on all the rest.....awaiting payment, waiting to be shipped, etc.....  it is in seller hub.
