I'm now doubling and tripling the time span between sales on my accounts. This is major record territory for me. I have accounts that haven't produced sales in over a month or two. In the past month I've only had 1 sale on this account for less than 5.00 out of 10,000.00 in inventory.
That's completely crazy. All my accounts on eBay are doing the same...Nothing. It's not the economy or the stuff I'm selling because my accounts are mirrored on other venues, and my sales there, are normal an steady. If it were either of those issues, than my accounts would be dead on those sites also.

ersatz you could go cutting edge and call them salesman samples...

I'm sure there's a sucker somewhere on ebay, but they're getting hard to find!

I'm sick of hearing that at auctions, and I'm sick of seeing it here. Real salesman samples don't come up very often.
Except for the garage in a small town near me where the owner was one of the largest toy/bank collector in the world - they had a car dealership, but by the 60's-70's, it was only used cars. Even in the 90's, you could walk in and see a Dent salesman sample of a toy in the office - but very few people knew that toy was worth more than the cars in the lot! The factory sample tags were still on the toys.

I have some of those Italian doilies somewhere, sometimes sets of them, they came in threes, often an elongated one with two smaller circular ones. I can see marketing them as dollhouse rugs, as well as doilies, sure why not, doilies aren't exactly hot. It's the price that isn't sitting well with me, as many of time's listings. It's not that he doesn't have desirable things, some are, but, the prices are high, too high for sales.
Yeah - I have to add more, just no time. But that actually is a real rug that is included. Looks even better all set up in person.

I got that, but it looks more like a vase than a toy.

I'm not finding anything under that title on eBay or the net. That means I can't find that price either.

Don't lose to much weight. Your going to need some muscle when it's time to reel in the big fish.

rschissler its whats called keyword spamming and in that category in hopes of snagging a interested party.

Aren't there new clueless buyers signing up on ebay everyday? Apparently not enough.
06-22-2017 06:14 AM
If a buyer cannot click on "WATCH THIS ITEM" and it DOES NOT save, that is a HUGE issue. Lost sales.
Then when a buyer clicks on "SEE SELLERS OTHER ITEMS" and it shows 0 or "THIS STORE DOES NOT EXIST" that is ANOTHER huge issue.
More lost sales.
I am going to start listing on other sites. Can't take this problem filled site any longer. They don't fix, they change, and change and change...then more problems.

I've said it before and I'll say it again: You're prices are too high.
If you're going to insist on a high price point you need more inventory to sell, so you get a little bit of that super high profit margin every day. But if I were you I'd cut prices in half. Your inventory isn't worth 10,000.
That is something you will never get the OP to believe. He comes crying a new topic 2x a week and puts all blame on Ebay.

He hides all the other supposedly other accounts. We will find too many reasons for his lack of sales and views and it would blow all his rants.

Oh, come on! I search eBay all the time for stuff, and almost never have a problem. Some people want to make it seem like little glitches occur constantly, all day long. Excuses, I say.

@keziak wrote:I am not sure I read that right. You have 10,000 items listed on ebay (I guess on other accounts)? That's hard for me to imagine and impossible to imagine that you aren't selling truckloads of stuff.
One digit too many. 1,000 items. Though I have way, way more than 10,000 items. I have over 16,000 silver age comics alone, and they take up very little space. I have more items than I can count. I would have liked to get more on eBay, but right now that's not where my stuff is selling, so I have to put what I can where the money's at.
To get back to the sales volume issue, I seem stuck around 700 most of the time. I'm a slow lister and I'm selling about the same number as I list. It's books and media so not expensive collectibles or furniture. But I would be very concerned if I did not get sales daily. I am presently running auctions to beef up my daily sales.
