Anchor Subscription Dedicated Support

I just upgraded my basic store subscription to Anchor Subscription.  How do I get dedicated support and email support?

This is an emergency.  I need to talk to dedicated support badly.  I called customer support, and the rep couldn't help me.

Can someone please help?

I have no choice because I need to talk to a dedicated support.  I need to explain to the "structural Data" team about the situation. The average customer support doesn't understand my problem.

I hope they truly help you. But you won't be able to get to the structural data team, or any tech team, sadly. You will only get MSO support representatives.

I don't know if your situation differs from mine, but we lost a huge amount of sales history/reviews when eBay advised us to set our listings to "MPN Does Not Apply", and then a month later our listings were removed from eBay BECAUSE of MPN does not apply (and ironically after our listings were removed, we got an email that said LATER IN THE YEAR they would start removing items with MPN does not apply - even though they already did so to us!).

In the end, they did not restore any of the lost data. But as I said, I hope they do assist you!

Re: Anchor Subscription Dedicated Support

Hi Zamo,

This seller(Lupo Store) also had the same problem as me.  He lost all his rating/reviews on all 50 listings. You can read everything in this Ebay Forum Thread

https://community.ebay.co.uk/t5/Business-Seller-Board/eBay-Reviews-Dissapearing-Gone-Missing/td-p/55...

He has videos on youtube documenting how other sellers intentionally/untentionally using his "Item Specific or UPC" to get his Reviews/Rating.   Some of his Rating/Reviews were transferred to other sellers selling completely different products.  I feel really bad for him.  He almost bankrupted!

You can find his youtube videos below

Re: Anchor Subscription Dedicated Support

If you lost your reviews ( those  yellow stars on your listing),  there is a good chance someone is using your "item specific / UPC / MPN or  ECN" to get access to them BUT selling a different product.

When you update your listing there is good chance your Rating/Review will disappear because someone is trying to link to them!  As a result, your hard earned review will end up on another seller listing.

You can try enter your "UPC / MPN /ECN code" on Ebay search.  Then you will find all the people using your privately own (ECN, MPN,  UPC,  etc etc)  if you look at their "item specific" section.

Re: Anchor Subscription Dedicated Support

I upgraded to Anchor as well, just two months ago. The dedicated customer support phone number was swamped anytime I called and I waited forever just to get answered, no matter what time I tried to call. I cancelled my Anchor subscription July 1.

Re: Anchor Subscription Dedicated Support

It's possible the UPC, etc was automatically input by ebay when the seller used the "sell one like this" link to list theirs.

You may not realize that ebay has cataloged any items you list with a related UPC or MPN, they're stored in their database and made available to competing sellers listing similar items. All a seller needs to do is type in what they're selling, click to search for related, this presents the seller with options of what may be their item. The seller selects the item they feel is theirs and presto, those specifics show in their listing. Even if it's not an exact item, as ebay has no way of knowing this!

Re: Anchor Subscription Dedicated Support

That is bad because a seller can sell any bad product to people by gaining access to other superior product review.  I don't know how Ebay going to police this.

ebay will police it the same way they  do anything on ebay - they will wait for someone - a buyer (complaint) or seller (glitch) - to file a report - and then, they will wait until there are enough complaints to make it worth while to fix it.  Merely going by past history, you understand.

You can ask anyone on the boards.  Some will say ebay should police, some will say that there is no way that ebay can police.

Personally speaking, I believe if ebay can't police their own platform, then they should cut back the amount of listings until they CAN police.

Re: Anchor Subscription Dedicated Support

Search the product catalog through the listing form to find out what product specifics are associated with your UPCs & MPNs. If the information has been assigned to an incorrect product you can report it to the product team through that page.

Re: Anchor Subscription Dedicated Support

How do I report the items?  Am I suppose to go to the listing, scroll down and click "Report Item"?
