I have a buyer from out of the US, he buys several of my items but problem is that some are serval days apart
and he waits till all are complete to pay....I told him to pay as you purchase and when the last item sells I'll adjust
the shipping or give a credit....am I being too eager? Thoughts

He has not answered, very cryptic....I asked originally after he won and a couple days went
by, "are you bidding on more item" and just answered "yes"....I guess I need to chill, he seems to do
this (buy several auction items) to others and has 800+ positive feedback

Do you want him to buy your stuff? Is he good about paying?
What's the rush?
Looking a gift horse in the mouth isn't always wise.
If he doesn't pay, file a non paying bidder claim, then block him. Otherwise, count your cash.

If he is a good customer I would accommodate him wherever possible.
What is his response to you asking to be paid as he goes along.

If you are in Managed Payments I think you will not be charged the eBay Fees until they pay. Prior to being in Managed Payments eBay would add the fees to your account as soon as the listing ended and you would have to get eBay to reverse the fees if the sale did not complete.
Anyway if you have the items paid for while you are waiting for the decision on the other items the clock is ticking to ship the items that are paid for. Depending on how far apart the items are you could be unable to fulfill you shipping times.

Yes to eager
I would accommodate such a good customer
Why are you taking the chance on upsetting the buyer and lose out on future sales?

I use to do auctions exclusively the 1st five years of selling and had several customers like that, both international and domestic.
They wait until all their wins are at a certain level, I would invoice them, they'd pay.
I miss those customers 😏

If you mean he's winning auctions, don't make him pay for each one as it ends - wait until he's done and send a combined invoice.
Once he pays, you're on the clock to ship it. Plus you lose money that way. PLUS, the only discount you can give on the last invoice would be the amount of the shipping charge for that item only(unless that changed). Otherwise you would have to do a partial refund(and lose more money).
