Am I Nuts?

I have some new listings, nothing has sold and I received an invoice from ebay for $400!

I haven't sold anything on ebay for a few years. Did something change?

I could have sworn I was at the end of the thread when I replied, but then I see another half page of replies I didn't see. Some that address what I posted about. Maybe I'm the one who's going nuts.  Smiley Frustrated

You're not. Several posts vanished then reappeared. Look at the view counts - they don't lie.

Hi @chereezz, optional listing upgrade fees are assessed per listing even if the listing does not result in a sale. You can see more details here. While it does sound like these are the fees you were assessed, I encourage you to contact Customer Service to discuss this further and see what options are available. While speaking with Customer Service you can also discuss any other listing or invoice questions you may have.

But that credit policy only covered the basic  insertion fee, not listing upgrades.

Exactly...just the relisting fee....no extras. I don`t know it that is still the case or not.

Re: Am I Nuts?

Yes, And one of mine disappeared because it was viewed as advertising, I was told. I think it was where I mentioned another site where I was selling other items very well. 🙂
I talked to someone in customer service who was quite helpful. We will see how it turns out.

If you received notice that a post was pulled that's because it violated one of the board rules. The posts that vanished without notice but were reinstated probably disappeared in error.

I'm glad CS was able to help you with your fee situation.

Thank You. Yes, I always check sold listings, which are one of the determining factors in my pricing.

Re: Am I Nuts?

At the bottom of the listing form before you hit submit it tells you what your fees are for that listing. It's a good idea to read it before you hit submit.

Re: Am I Nuts?

I received my credit. It was substantial and fair, I thought for what I perceived my costs would be based on eBay's instructions. There was also a problem with the re-listings and using templates which I hope they can make more clear for future users.
