Ok so I would like some advice: I sell on eBay, and for 2019, the Paypal account linked with my eBay was in my dad's name. I made over 20K so now there is a 1099 being sent out. The problem is, it is in my dad's name. We had started the account/company together, as I was originally going to help him sell things, but since then I have taken over, and just never switched the Paypal account. Now I am concerned and wanting to get things straightened out. What is the best way for me to get this corrected, and pay the applicable taxes, in my name?
