What types of things interest you?  Usually best to sell something you know, etc.

Are you looking to sell items that compliment what you already sell?

Re: Additional Products

A lot of us are thrifters.

And thrift shops get a lot of pictures, some of it very nice, some well.... there is a market for kitsch.

Your items seem to be made in China, are you dropshipping or are you buying stock and doing your own packing and shipping?

That gives an idea of your skills.

If it was easy to make money on eBay by simply buying an item wholesale and marking up, then everyone would be selling here and everyone would be rich.

IMHO 95% of the work on eBay is sourcing inventory. All the rest of it - photographing, listings, packing shipping - is just busy work.

Re: Additional Products

@filmlinegallery   What's in your:

1.   Attic

2. Closest

3. Garage

3. Shed

List stuff you want to get rid of, use that money to buy items to resell.

Buy and sell what you know.

Re: Additional Products

Look on ebay at the type of stuff I sell. You could buy this type of old antique envelopes from various sellers on ebay then frame them. Then increase your price. But seriously look at various collectibles on ebay and do some research online. Then attend estate sales and try resell a few items you buy there. Knowledge is key. Collectibles many are one off so you can get good profit if you buy the right items. Or you can niche.

Re: Additional Products

First off take a look at all the Chinese junk in the 99 cent stores and don't try to sell that.

Then go to some sellers "sold" listings to see what actually sells and for how much.

The next step is the most important.  Start going to estate sales to source out the types of items you see that sell and look for them on Sunday afternoons when the estate sale companies will almost give away merchandise.

After five or ten years you will know instantly how much you will clear after ebay fees on most items based on the estate sale price.

Re: Additional Products

Hi, below is a link to a website called WatchCount. On there, you can see best sellers and trending items. It also breaks down sales by category to give an idea of the market. That might help give you some ideas.

http://www.watchcount.com/

Otherwise, you might just add some different things to your listings that you source from your home (so no investment while researching) and see how it goes. Or, do some test runs with items you have an interest in.

Good luck!

Personally, I prefer to frame my own pieces in-house.

sell what you are knowledgeable about.

Re: Additional Products

Ask your wholesale supplier

what else they offer or how about selling

something to put in the frames.
