Since eBay mobile app does not support 3rd party input why bother ???

Many of my listings have pictures which I uploaded to my web site and I have set up URL pointers to them in the Item Description. Now EBay is flagging them because they are afraid of something, I don't know what.. Before I get wound up, does Ebay have any workaround for this, or do I have to delete all my photos and start all over again?
Anyone know a macro or method to transfer photos from my website so Ebay's lockbox?

I don't understand your point. You;re saying all the people who use ENay only use I-phones?

FYI: most buyers, myself included, never go into descriptions to see pictures --- the eBay hosted pictures load quickly, do not include cookies, and are easy to click through
The description is for words ...

Not sure if you can just use https instead of http, put a certificate on your server and open port 443 to allow the https to go through.

Probably close to 70% are on mobile devices ...

FYI - I would never use an ebay app.
And sometimes 12 photos isn't enough.

I can understand that if you;re buying a cheap Chinese $1 item. If you;lre buying something valuable, you don;t just jump into it, or maybve you do

Read Social Media --- almost all of them rely excusively on their phones --- beyond that look at the expense eBay is laying out to be "mobile device compliant"
I have no stats --- just real time data ...

My sales number show about 35% of my sales come from mobile devices. Really depends on what you sell.
I host my pictures on my own website. I had to purchase the security certificate and then convert all my listings where http was used to https. Every scan I have used comes up clean.

I don't think a serious buyer will glance at a couple of tiny photos and then decide to buy a $3000 item.
There's no reason for Ebay to ban externally hosted pictures. other than Ebay's acute sense of paranoia, that there's a dollar out there that's not theirs.
If Ebay was in reality laying out a "lot of money" to be mobile-compliant, they would have porvided solutions to this **bleep** and not created nightmares for the people they use to RECEIVE a ton of money from. At least they could hire some competent programmers. What a pain in the azz, I have spent 4 days now going through my listings using glitchy tools which DON'T work becuase Ebay has set up so many blocks to PREVENT them from working.

Don't blame Ebay, blame Google http://www.zdnet.com/article/chrome-will-begin-marking-http-pages-as-non-secure/
Google will soon block non-HTTPS content, and since 50%+ of the web uses Google Chrome as a browser...well, that's a lot of people who will not be able to view Ebay content if it's not https

Thank you! Did you use a macro, some kind of programmning tool to convert "http" text to "https"?
What do you recommend, where to buy certificate?
How do you know that a sale is coming from mobile buyer?
