Re: Account Restrictions

@iamalwaysright;

CBT = Cross Border Trade ... eBay policy "specifically for Southeast Asian sellers". This is a requirement for export sellers (those who are selling on ebay.com, but are not based in the USA) in some regions of the world.

https://www.ebay.com.my/sellercentre/manage-your-account/account-health/cbt-seller-dashboard

@vardhantcrafts;

According to the policy page above, your account is evaluated on Wednesday. Then you can submit an appeal the next day on Thursday, and eBay will take action based on your evaluation on the following Friday.

You shared your previous evaluation here; it showed that the previous action taken (restriction) for INR was continuing at that time.

https://community.ebay.com/t5/Selling/BBE-AND-INR-IS-LOWER-THAN-THE-MARKET-AVERAGE/m-p/34573803#M243...

Now, your dashboard shows that your account is (still) Compliant for BBE as of your latest evaluation, but you didn't share your INR evaluation. All that I can see is that you have gone from Red! (=Action Taken) in your previous evaluation) to Grey- (= no transactions that require evaluation).

I hope that means that your restriction will be lifted, but please come back and let us know what happens. That will help us to be able to help others who are in this situation.

Re: Account Restrictions

@vardhantcrafts

You can't reach eBay customer service through this forum. This community is for eBay users, and most of the members here are based in the USA and have no experience with this requirement. All I can do is try to help you to understand the requirement, I can't submit an appeal for you, or do anything to fix your account.

According to what the policy says, the action based on each evaluation (on Wednesday) is applied to the account on the following Friday.  So as I explained before, you may just need to wait until  tomorrow.

The policy also says that you need to contact your LOCAL eBay customer service. Another member who was restricted a couple of months ago, found that the restriction was lifted about 1-2 weeks after the evaluation became good. He said that he contacted his account manager, and the account manager filed an appeal for him. That's all that I can advise you about.

Re: Account Restrictions

@lacemaker3yes i agreed with you but problem is that i have not a account manager and i have only one option to contact ebay is that help and contact and contact to an agent and send an email only.

@kensgiftshop i have no idea about it that my account is suspended permanently because i have not received any email and message from ebay.

on 5th of may my account all active listings ended automatically and when i tried to relist again than below message showed only

"You cannot list items on eBay.com and eBay.ca or select the United States or Canada as your shipping location. The restriction will be removed when you enhance the buyer experience.
You can sell to other countries and continue to make purchases. However, you will not be able to update the duration or quantity of the listings currently available to the US or Canadian market.
Registering new accounts to avoid restrictions is not allowed"

after that i have tried and contact and send several emails to ebay but they did not reply.

Re: Account Restrictions

So you can list on other Ebay sites, just not US or Canada and you can't ship to these countries.

List on the India site, just don't ship to the US or Canada.

Have a great day.

Re: Account Restrictions

@kensgiftshop No it's just to say that you can list on other eBay sites but on the other sites I am not able to list, there is also a message saying your account is under suspicious activity so you can't list.

Re: Account Restrictions

@vardhantcrafts,

Here's a link to a post from a seller whose restriction was just lifted. He said he appealed with his account manager, but I think that the restriction would have been lifted anyway, because his dashboard was now saying that his account was good (like yours). So I think he just needed to wait it out.

https://community.ebay.com/t5/Selling/INR-BBE-Restriction/m-p/34600421#M2437087

Here's a guide that eBay published for sellers in India, which should be helpful:

https://export.ebay.com/ebayhub_media/documents/eBay_Seller_Guide_2023%D1%81.pdf

You can get help for sellers in your region on this forum. You can't sell or buy on eBay India anymore, this eBay site is just for supporting export sellers in India. If you don't have an account manager yet, you should ask here about how to get one:

https://community.ebay.in/

Re: Account Restrictions

On each Ebay page there is a link to contact Customer Service at the top of the page and again at the bottom of the page.

I would suggest that you contact Ebay for Business on Facebook, Instagram or Twitter for the better trained CSRs.

Here are your options for contacting Ebay Customer Service. Please be aware that for social media CS, you send them a Private Message and briefly explain what your problem or issue is. Feel free to leave your Name, address, phone number and/or your email address in this message. It is private and secure and it may help to speed up the response for you.

https://twitter.com/askebay

https://www.facebook.com/ebay

https://www.instagram.com/ebayforsellers/

Your options will be on the left. If you use the link below you can only get to the Automated Assistant or Chat box type AGENT in the box and hit enter. You will then get more options. Not all options are available 24/7. It will depend on staffing available. So sometimes you can request a call back and sometimes you can't. Sometimes you have the Chat option available and other times it won't me. If it is important to you to use one of those options, just try back later.

If you use a cell phone or other mobile device, you may need to turn off your Spam filter so that Ebay can call you.

If you are a seller outside of the US or Canada, you will need to use the Chat Option.
