Correct me if I'm wrong - but when a buyer transports an item after they have received it in working order negates an inad return - right?

@castlemagicmemories wrote:Since transporting it doesn't negate the INAD. I don't think it likely here, you sold it without a key, he went to buy a key. Just my opinion, we can agree to disagree.
I have returned a SNAD item only to have the seller claim it wasn't his item, when it absolutely was. Interestingly, the item was a rare, extremely limited edition item that it would be almost impossible for someone to have another one to swap out, yet that was claimed. The item was SNAD due to undisclosed damage not readily apparent in the pictures. In addition, seller did not tape the box so it became more damaged during shipping to me.
Your call.
It ran for a month in my basement I wound it with a small cresent wrench. He received it and left positive feedback stating packed well works well. He brought it to a shop to get a key - and they had to have removed covers under the glass springs as there are no springs exposed. It's not about the money it's about the SNADs which cost money over the long run. This is the 4th clock like this (exact model) I've sold - first issue. I totally respect your opinion. I'm just **bleep** because this is the 3rd SNAD I've gotten in the past week that I feel is unearned. Another SNAD I got this week was for a lady claiming that a ceramic Christmas tree I sold "didn't seem authentic" when it had nowell Molds stamped right on the bottom! Who in the world would counterfeit a 1970s ceramic Christmas tree? It's all good - stuff ebbs and flows. I was hoping for a merrier 4th q.

I understand but it doesn't necessarily follow that because some items had no issues, all of those will have no issues. I realize it would be great if it did work that way. I respect your opinion as well, and I understand why no seller would want a return, and so they find it hard to believe that the buyer isn't scamming. I remember your issue with the Christmas tree, that was unfortunate but it doesn't mean every return is going to be bogus. As has been said by others, the spring may have broken in transit. I'm hoping that the 4th quarter turns around for you, and wish you the best of success.

Like I said earlier the spring probably isn't broke they just didn't like the price to get the clock looking room ready and its easier to return and get a refund than to toss more money into it. When a seller get a SNAD return back and its just like what it was when sold thats now referred to as being ebayed....

The market for those ceramic trees is flooded with new stuff....... The molds are still out there, and being used overtime.

Some people like a patina. If the spring was broke in transit, why would he leave this as feedback

I'd like to get a little sniff of that flooded market 5405 listed for sale 4627 have sold in the last 90 days. The didn't seem authentic claim was once purchase was made ebay took it on themselves to show the buyer cheaper listing that weren't display to them prior to making their original purchase and buyer was hoping you'd toss them a little cash back boneus...

No.
Getting ebayed is getting nothing back or something worthless and still having to issue the refund.
That's ebayed.
What you're referring to, getting a return back that is exactly like what was sent that is great!
Dang falsification spreaders.

I'm not disagreeing with you I'm agreeing with you. You'll get it back and it will be exactly as it was when you shipped it. Your problem is getting ebay to agree with you which isn't going to happen...

I would know what to do in this case and I wouldn't even have to come here to ask these people.
Matter of fact I would specifically not come here.
And for that same reason I won't share my answer with anyone.
Not even for a million dollars.

Please stop spreading false information.
Thank you
Or getting burried in best match - or having to pay the extra 4% tax on the fvf - that is getting ebayed!

Hi.
I'm sorry this all happened to you.
Now, this is about the third time in this thread you mentioned the feedback the buyer gave you. It sounds like you're hoping this Pos FB can be 'proof' as to the condition...
but
I've rarely seen eBay take FB as 100% proof in a NAD, because eBay knows FB can be left in error, for the wrong seller.
At least that's what I've seen on these boards over the last dozen years, or more.
Thanks,
Lynn

My sincere apologies for the redundancy - others kept pointing out that it may have broken in transit - I was merely pointing out that it worked fine when he got it. Respectfully.
