One of my listings is getting right now hundreds of views(without orders), and it's still increasing. I haven't done anything to it, and on average it's getting +-10 views per day. Why can it be happening?

sometimes an item will get a post on social media somewhere and get alot of hits......also could be on some affiliate site that is getting some interest for some reason.........

Hemp has been making the news quite a bit in the USA lately.
Or maybe someone posted your auction to their website or chat board post and that is attracting attention to it?
or ebay cross promoted it somewhere else that is driving attention to it?
Or you are not being hidden by ebay this week?
or?

I didn't post it anywhere. It gets 20-30 views per minute. It definitely a glitch or some kind of spam-bot attack

Yes! I'm always really happy when I see my listing being promoted by someone out there I don't know. I do wonder if that isn't part of the reason for GTC. Still, I can't risk too much money ahead of sales. It can drain away a chunk of the money I do make in no time.

No new watchers, no sales. These are not real people.

Maybe. I still say it's real people. Keep in mind that one person who is thinking about buying it can return to the page many times and each visit is counted. I always know I have a person really interested when I have a high view count. They still may not buy, but they are really interested. Be glad.

Yes I've seen some of the posts. I've not read too many. It is still true that when someone is interested, they often view the listing many times before they buy.
I am not entirely dismissing the bot theory. I'm saying that I've done this for a long time and I know that some of the numbers go up because one or more shoppers are viewing it repeatedly.

Also, for a while our own views were counted. Currently it seems that sometimes my own views are counted and sometimes they are not. That I cannot explain.

It continues to get more and more views. No watcher, no sales, nothing. Mb if someone from ebay is checking that post - 233207646630 is id of the listing
