true short story: when I worked for amazon, we would get daily deliveries of such items, but they come in wrapped in brown paper usually so you can't see what the item is useless you scan the bar code it will come up on the hand held devise. Was stowing (that's amazon for stocking) one day a ton of adult sex swings the only reason I knew cause they were not wrapped as should have been. 😎

Canadian PP does not but US Paypal does process payments for adult items.

Yes, because with managed payments, ebay now accepts American Express, and American Express prohibits their customers from purchasing certain things with their AmEx credit card, like adult-oriented products.

So you have American Express to thank for that, and ebay, which submitted to the AmEx policy and inflicted that restriction (and others) onto everyone - AmEx users and non-AmEx users alike - in order to accept American Express credit cards.

Just to be clear, there is no requirement that a business accept AmEx credit cards. Plenty of businesses do not. The largest one I know that does not (or at least did not as of a few years ago) accept AmEx is Safeway.

@hurrrhaha_0  The Netherlands is not exactly a low-income country.  Ayden is a Netherlands company. Being able to access the European Union market, which some economists reckon is actually larger than the US market, may be a strong inducement.

Amex was the one card we refused to accept when we had a store, and still do with our online auctions.

They only paid out once a month and charged more than other cards.

They only exist, in my opinion, because they came on the scene early (and whatever happened to Diners Club) and have run an aggressive publicity campaign targetting "aspirational" clients.

I feel bad for the coin and bullion sellers out there. There's a TON of them and most of them specialize in that area so they have no fall back. Many of them have been doing it since the late 90's early 2000's on here.

This is all so dang stupid it's beyond belief.  Like our Government is not corrupt and sex crazed.  For Ebay to put restrictions on the public over adult material when we are inundated with sex on TV and Internet daily is the height of hypocrisy.  Money is money.  All this does is prevent normal people from making a buck.

im one of the biggest pinup photos sellers on ebay. ive been selling nothing but pinup photos for 13 yrs. ive done over a million dollars in sales without a doubt. ive had 200k years in sales... im also a 100% disable iraq war veteran and ive depended on this riche income to help me afford to live cuz i cant work anyother job. im curious if basic batty page nude photos will be banned. you know the 1950's nude pinup styled photos. i do well over 1500.00 a week and now imk scared im going to lose it all. ive had numerous auctions removed in last 2 months that for the last 13 yrs have been completely acceptable.

Just got forced into managed payments and read the restrictions policies link to the Managed Payments page. They still refer to the allowing items listed under Everything Else>Adult Only (and consider Playboy and Penthouse in here, if they "contain nude images or explicit content"). But clearly, this is misleading, as they kicked out all of my art books as soon as I signed up and won't allow me to relist them. All of the comps I look at of the exact same item for pricing purposes remain because they circumvent calling the items "adult".
