Did you mean:

AI, chatGBT bots are insane and making me want to leave.

I have had three orders alone this week that have created a fake delivered notice when nothing has arrived or was delivered. When I send a message to the seller, I receive a autogenerated, delusional and off topic answer. All of those sellers have good feedback but have names like “buy on clicks” etc **bleep**. People are shipping items straight from Walmart reselling them on eBay with bots. This is actually ridiculous. Furthermore, the customer service is outsourced to the Philippines and they can’t do NOTHING more than you. This is ridiculous and I have been avoiding Amazon because eBay is a little cheaper but maybe it’s time to go.

bad for business

Buyer trust is negatively affected, when ebay considers something delivered, when it hasn't

Suggestion... instead of messaging the seller, check with the carriers who said the items were 'Delivered', for starters.

Re: AI, chatGBT bots are insane and making me want to leave.

eBay can only go by the information seen via tracking.  If tracking shows it to have been delivered, eBay considers it delivered.

There are several places where buyers are shown where to go for help if this happens.

Basically, if the package was addressed correctly, but not delivered to that address, then that's a problem with the courier.

If the package was addressed incorrectly and thus delivered incorrectly, that's an issue with the seller.

Contact the carrier and ask about the address to which it was delivered.

They won't tell you the exact address, but they will tell you the address on the package.

Then go from there.

Re: AI, chatGBT bots are insane and making me want to leave.

They seem to be talking about retail dropshippers and the problem with them is that they don't use carrier tracking.

They use bluecare express and aquiline for their tracking.

You can alter tracking with these services, they are a third party company. Ebay will tell you to contact them for issues yet they aren't an actual carrier.

I've frowned upon eBay for ever allowing it.

I see, the problem is not only the tracking, I have never received these items.

I am not trying to be rude but the company to be in Texas and my package to be shipped from 10 miles from my house by USPS..if it says it was delivered at 10:00am in the morning and I see the postal car at 2pm, it clearly wasn’t the courier. Please save these know it all comments, thanks.

Re: AI, chatGBT bots are insane and making me want to leave.

I buy quite a bit on ebay and have never encountered what you are.

In a INR (item not received) case ebay goes strictly by the tracking.

In most cases, if the tracking shows delivered, the seller wins.

If the tracking shows not delivered, the buyer wins.

A fake (or incorrect) delivery notice will not even come in to play.

I hope it all works out for you.

Thank you, I have money back quarantee for two items fortunately. However, an order a put in just now shows that bluecare shipping which doesn’t show up when I enter the tracking on their website and the other seller made me even more paranoid. This is absolutely unacceptable.

Re: AI, chatGBT bots are insane and making me want to leave.

So understanding what you typically blucare express is used for.

When you buy items on Amazon, or use FBA with a TBA tracking number. The tracking isn't public. Amazon has never provided this information.

Blucare express provides a fake tracking number, and I say fake because it has no actual connection to the package.

What this service does is read the tracking from the Amazon account and relay that in a readable tracking.

This company isn't held to the same standards as actual carrier tracking. Some of these services allow for manual input of bad information, such as starting location of package.

Also Amazon uses many outsourced flex gig workers. So the tracking isn't as reliable from an actual carrier.

The amount of times gig workers mess up. This shouldn't be delivery confirmation.

Bluecare express and Aquiline need to not be supported by eBay.

"Know it all comments."

We thought you wanted help or advice which we offered.

If there is tracking showing delivery, you need to start with the carrier.

They know where the package was delivered.

If the address on the package was wrong, then the seller made an error.

If the address on the package was correct, but it was delivered some place else, that's a carrier error.

If you feel this is a know it all comment, feel free to ignore it.

Re: AI, chatGBT bots are insane and making me want to leave.

While you may be correct when actual carrier tracking is used.

Since this is blucare express, the tracking has no actual connection to the package. Contacting blucare express will not provide any information.

And since all the buyer is provided with is a third party tracking company, there is literally nothing he can do.

Saying contact the carrier is pointless in this situation. Amazon is the most likely carrier, and they will only talk to the account holder who made the purchase.

Your advice only works when actual carrier tracking is provided.

@soh.maryl

I think we get what you are saying.  Unfortunately, if a parcel was misdelivered by a carrier, or intentionally sent  by the seller to an incorrect address on purpose simply to document tracking, these incidences become the BUYER'S PROBLEM on eBay.   The money back guarantee is a giant fail so long as there is a 'delivered scan'.   Generally it is because eBay requires written documentation from the BUYER that is difficult or impossible to obtain since  no carrier is required to cooperate with anyone. In cases, for example, where a phony FedEx number is used, the buyer is not even the intended recipient, so they do not get cooperation from the carrier. The problem is made even worse with these "tracking companies" that use their own numbers, yet are not couriers at all.  It is still the BUYER'S PROBLEM on eBay

If you research here, the "tracking scam" issues on these boards date back to 2015 and before that when the concept didn't even have a "name" . It is still quite successful as far as scams go.

We know eBay does not provide information to a buyer that is a victim.  We know that denial of a buyer's INR claim, and appeal are not always the end of story for the victim. We know other things to try, and what the victim needs to do before they go to PayPal or their credit card for redress. We know how to play the system to gain redress from the eBay auto denial bots that run it.  We know this because of years, months, and days of members sharing information here.

Re: AI, chatGBT bots are insane and making me want to leave.

To also say how lame blucare express used as an exploit.

I have my packages delivered to PMB at UPS store with my business account.

On several occasions I have been denied by eBay for INR.

I've had UPS (a legitimate company) write a statement that not only is the tracking false that it was never delivered to my address that the time it was marked delivered was impossible because they would have been closed.

Regardless, the only way for me to get my money back was to file INAD return and mail back an empty box.

Sorry I'm passionate about my hate for bluecare express and aquiline. I feel tracking should only come from the actual carrier so accountability can be held. Not some third party software company.
